Strange thing about TLK 1&2

I don't think they are the same crocs... I thought that all the animals died when Scar was a king. :/

More likely: most of them left the Pride Lands. Sarabi does say that "The herds have moved on". The crocs may have left as well by moving down-river, but the animals would come back once vegetation started growing in the Pride Lands again. The Circle of Life certainly rebuilt itself with Simba's rule.

Good point. You know, I don't think those are the same crocs. They even look somewhat different. And when Kiara and Kovu were being attacked by crocs, it was no where near where Simba and Nala were in the first TLK movie, right? :/

At that point of I Just Can't Wait To Be King scene where the crocodiles appear, Simba and Nala are most likely pretty deep in the Pridelands. And if the crocodiles were going to ATTACK Kovu and Kiara, why would they sing with two other lions? :/
I don't think Disney paid attention to this at all, though XD

Maybe those crocs were living in the Outlands. That's why they attacked Kovu & Kiara. Same with the hyenas in TLK1.

I think that because the crocs in TLK were part of a song, they were actually part of Simba and Nala's imagination. This may be hard to explain, but I think that the cubs simply ran around in other animals herds and confused Zazu (who eventually got sat on) but they imagined all the animals joining in. A reson I feel this way is because of the fact that the elephants are BRIGHT red. Have you ever seen a bright red elephant? I thought not. And also, during IJCWtbK, the animals are quite stylised compared to the animals seen in other, normal scenes. I don't know how to attach a file, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
So, taking this into consideration, I think that the crocs attacking Kovu and Kiara had absolutely nothing to do with the crocs in IJCWtbK.

Like Pixie said, I think the IJCWTBK scene is meant to be a childish, imaginative view of Africa, Simbas fantasy about how awesome it will be to be king. Of course there are no blue monkeys or red elephants, lol.

Anyway, I think the crocs in TLK and the ones in SP are in no way related. I definatly don`t think they are the same ones. I believe they mention in the audio tape of TLK that Simba and Nala ran through many herds of animals in order to lose Zazu. It`s quite possible that they crossed a river (or maybe just ran alongside one) and met some crocs, but weren`t attacked.

The SP crocs in the Outlands attacked Kiara and Kovu most likely because they were hungry. I mean, the cubs were walking on crocodiles, what croc would miss such a golden oppurtunity? I honestly don`t think they cared about who the cubs parents were. It`s quite possible that these crocs have been living in that swamp all their lives and know nothing (or dont care about) the Pridelanders and the royal family.

I'm guessing that the crocodiles in the outlands aren't as nice as the ones in the pridelands.
