Ahadi and Uru's Story (Private, KK44 and FlamingBee)

She sighed; "No father." She tried to catch Ahadi's eye to show him she wasn't against him.

Choyo sneered. "Do not think of backing out now," he warned as he walked away. Ahadi looked at Uru. "Perhaps you should consider joining me," he said.

She looked pleadingly at Ahadi, before leaving behind her father whispering so only they two could hear; "I can't..."

Ahadi was determined. "You can. You just need to find it within yourself," he whispered.

Uru looked away; not now, not yet. She would give her father a chance, talk to her parents alone. Perhaps they could be convinced to join her in peace; she knew to Ahadi it was seem she was deserting him. She tried to keep the thought of his broken-hearted expression from her mind.

Tears welled in Ahadi's eyes. "Uru, please..." he said.

Johari moved forward, resting her tail over Ahadi's as the dark lioness and her father disappeared. "I'm sorry Ahadi..."

Ahadi sighed. "Come on, let's go home," he said and turned in the direction of the Pridelands.

Johari was saddened as she followed the prince, flicking her tail in farewell to the three rogues. When they returned to Pride Rock the other lions were asleep. "There's still a chance for things to change..."

Ahadi smiled. "Hopefully, she'll find the courage to break away from him," he stated.
