What happened to MLK's golden rule of nothing ever being deleted? As a once wise admin once said, "Topics that aren't posted in will simply fall to the bottom of the list." Besides, you already have the rule that if a topic isn't posted in for a month, it gets locked and a new topic of the same nature can be started.

I still will keep my opinions about this whole change, but if it benefits the forum as a whole in the long run, I'll live with it. I'm not going to say that it was for the best now though, since it's been in effect for what? Like the past several hours or so?

I'm pretty sure that nothing got deleted.

I've found most everything around. Haven't noticed anything missing, just in a different place.

Ok, but if hasn't been used in 75 days and is in The Arcade (which mostly consists of easily remake-able, silly games) no one's even gonna care.

If it was a more important forum, I'd care. But this is The Arcade we're talking about...

Again, there is already a rule in place that deals with this sort of situation, and that's the point I'm bringing up. It might be the arcade, and the posts might be less meaningful then the rest of the forum, yet these are still posts being made by the members, and there are those members who sometimes like to go back and review posts for whatever reason.

Are you really trying to fight MLK over pruning old arcade game topics? Do you want to look back and say "Oh yeah! I remember when this member rated the other member 9... then this member rated another member 5.... Oh man, classic, that one was such a 10... x100pages"

Really, c'mon now. That is the silliest thing to fight over I've ever heard of on MLK, and there have been some dumb fights here. =P
