Syena smiled at her daughter. "Thank you." She turned to Mwunga. "About that Quagga you were with. I have sent a patrol to find him, but not eat him." She told the lioness. "And thank you for healing our wounded."

Mwunga nodded. "Of course." She meowed in reply.

Drune sat down beside Koori. He scratched his ear then watched a spider crawl on a rock nearby.

Koori licked his lips. He hadn't eaten zebra in a while, only scavenged carcass the a lion had previously taken...

Elbura smiled sweetly, "You're welcome, mama!"

Syena glanced around. "Dismissed!" She howled, though not too loud. She jumped off the rock and flicked her tail at Elbura. "Escort the lioness back, please."

Mwunga glanced at the sky, which had rumbled in the distance. Dark clouds formed on the horizon. She looked back at the hyenas.

Drune sneezed. "Man, I'm hungry." He commented.

Elbura ignored any peril that may be coming their way. A plastic smile spread across her face again. "Hee hee! Come on, guys, let's go back home."

Koori nodded in agreement to Drune. "Oh yeah. I could eat an elephant. But you know what happened last time we tried!"

Mwunga nodded and trotted after Elbura. She felt a bit more relaxed, hoping Velka would be alright.

"Oooh. Don't remind meh." Drune replied. He remembered the giant scar he had received. "I still got the marks. But anyhow, maybeh we should ask the queen if we can go huntin' alone?" He cocked his head at Koori.

[Hehe. I based the stormy skies off the thunder that I'm hearing in real life at the moment. So I might poof if the power dies. :3]

Elbura guided them to the den. "sleep well, friends."

Koori nodded like a madman, "Yeah, good idea. But I don't want no more petty scavenged meat. We gotta hunt fresh meat. Maybe a small warthog will do?"

"Thank you." Mwunga replied, curling around Shomari. She yawned and gazed back at Elbura.

"Ooh yes." Drune licked his jaws. "C'mon." He stood and trotted to Syena, tail wagging.

Koori announced his plan, "Wai-wai-wai-wait. I got a better idea. Queen's bringing back the red zebra; the quiggle? We should snatch him up for a quick meal!"

"Ooh. An easy meal. Yes...." Drune cackled. "Let's go to the entrance." He began to pad towards the pack's camp entrance.

Koori reminded him, "Act as clueless as possible! We're not in the mood for red zebras at all!" he said, feeling smart.
