Drune chucked and smiled at her. he then yawned and lay down, letting his paws dangle over the stone.

"Yemmaehhfffss." Mwunga attempted to reply, talking around Shomari's scruff.

"I didn't quite catch that. By the way, kitties, what are your names? And what the heck... did I see things? Because I could have swore I saw a red zebra. Was it bleeding or something?"

[Zoketi]

Mwunga gently set Shomari down. "Sorry. I said 'yes'. And my name's Mwunga, and this is Shomari." Mwunga didn't see the point of disguising themselves under false names. "And that was a Quagga. His name's Velka. He was our friend...." Mwunga looked back instinctively, though they were far from the battle scene. "I hope he's alright." She whispered. She glanced down at Shomari, who was still unconcious.

Elbura thought for a moment. "Oh. A quagga? You're friends with it? Is it because you want to eat it later on, or are you two a pride of seriously strange lions?"

[Zoketi]

"Nope. I heal--well, we've a true friendship anyhow." Mwunga answered. "And yes, I'm used to being called strange." She grinned at Elbura. "But do you have herbs to heal my uh...son?" She added. Maybe she'd better tell them Shomari was her son, hopefully it would make more sense than just taking in the lost cub.

[Misiziri]

Elbura looked at here cluelessly. "Herbs... that heal? Like, heal wounds? Serious injuries? That's magical!"

[Zoketi]

"Oh." Mwunga felt a twinge of fear for Shomari. He was still unconscious, and bleeding freely. "Um...do you mind if I take a look at the plants around here?" She gazed around the rocks, noticing small shrubs and sprouts.

[Misiziri]

"Well, no, it's not like we have possession of the plants, ha ha ha. Look around, I want to see this miracle herb!" Elbura commanded, dazzled.

[Zoketi]

"Thanks." Mwunga licked Shomari then bounded over to the plants. She snuffled a bit, hoping that these unfamiliar leaves might help. They smelled alright, so she plucked a few and padded back to Shomari. She began to chew them into poultices and place them on the ground. "Do you know where there is any cobweb?" She asked, without looking up from her work.

Elbura nodded, "Yeah... they're all over the place, I guess. I think Drune might now because he likes the 8-leggeds. Hey, Drune! Know where any spiderwebs are?"
