Syena blinked down at Koori. "Of course...as long as they stay loyal." She replied, tossing her short mane. She looked over at the approaching lions. Drune was leading them over.

Mwunga kept her gaze calm and her eyes betrayed no emotion as she stepped closer. Her jaws clamped around Shomari were aching, as well as her whole body, yet she ignored the trickling blood down her flank. She halted before the queen, keeping hold of Shomari despite the pain.

"Lions. You assure me that they be loyal, yes?" Syena turned to Koori.

[Koori should be her mate or deputy, if that's fine. :3]

[Misiziri]

(Koori wants to be her mate but feels inferior to her.)

Koori shook his head quickly, "Yes! Well, no, I mean, you know... if they ain't loyal it's consuquences for them!" He replied, smiling sweetly.

[Zoketi]

"Of course." Syena gave him a quick smile. "You, lions." She faced Mwunga and Shomari. "We'll guide you home. And if what you say is the truth, we let you live peacefully....with us." She commanded, and leapt off the rock. "Come, my Pack."

Mwunga felt a tremor of fear. Her eyes darted around at the hyenas, then began to drag Shomari's limp form along.

[Alright. Romance? Yes/No? ^^"]

[Misiziri]

(Romance is icky to me. Very very slight romantic charge, almost unnoticeable. Acceptable?)

A new female hyena emerged. Elbura, the sweetest of the hyenas and Syena's daughter, welcomed the lions with a sweet smile.

"We'll share food with you if you're nice. Now come one, we'll guide you to a safe place for the night."

[Yep. I don't like very much of it, and I HATE human romance (real-life romance. Ugh...bleh...gross) So that is fine. x3]

Syena trusted her daughter to care for the lions, so she disappeared between to rocks into her den. Drune cackled at some of the pups playing, then winked at them and trotted away.

Mwunga dipped her head, still unable to speak. She carefully followed Elbura.

[Misiziri]

(I know right? They always have to make romance explicit.)

Elbura walked with quite the bounce in her step. She was happy that her mother was over her father's death. "You guys are going to like being in a hyena pack! Especially a big group like this! All you have to worry about is elephants!" She piped.

[Zoketi]

[Yeah...humans are just soo...bleh.]

Mwunga felt some of her fear wash away. She had never thought of hyenas as caring and happy, just evil creatures that attacked her kind. She wanted to talk, but couldn't drop Shomari.

Drune sat on a rock, watching a spider crawl between his paws. He sniffed lightly at it, watching it flail as the rush of air from his nose blew it. He gave a soft chuckle.

[Misiziri]

(Not all. Just... a far larger number than it should be. Anywho, back on topic )

Elbura saw Drune out of the corner of her eye, "Playing with spiders again, buddy?" She turned to Mwunga and Shomari, "4 legs over the top, don't like 'em."

[Zoketi]

[Right. ]

Drune laughed. "Heehee. You're such a girl." He smirked, flicking he spider towards Elbura.

Mwunga attempted to smile with the fur in her jaws. She actually felt safe here.

[Misiziri]

Elbura 'eeked' and jumped backwards a little. "Drune! Spiders are icky. Only centipedes are worse." She struck up a conversation with the two lions, "Have you ever seen a centipede?"
