Ahadi and Uru's Story (Private, KK44 and FlamingBee)

"You will do as I say, you are my son and future King!" Mohatu was still angry, and feared his temper would become too much if Ahadi remained here. "Get out! I'll deal with you later."

[KingKovu44]

Ahadi snarled. "Fine. I'll be happy to leave," he said as he stepped out of the den.

[FlamingBee]

Zuzu followed the Prince cautiously, trying not to let him no she was there.

Ahadi walked away from Pride Rock, headed towards his favorite sunning rock. "WHY?!" he shouted.

[FlamingBee]

Uru paused as she heard someone's shouts from behind her. Rather than returning to 'her' pride, she'd ended up taking a nap in the bush, the shade keeping her cool in the midday sun. Should she investigate the noise?

Zuzu, meanwhile, settled on a branch, watching the lion she'd watched grow up...

Ahadi sneered. "My father is being unreasonable! Why can't I see her? It's not like she's a threat," he said aloud.

[FlamingBee]

"How can you know that, sire?" Zuzu spoke softly as she flew down swiftly and settled on a rock in front of him.

Meanwhile Uru had decided she should slope through the undergrowth to see if the person making the noise had been injured or attacked.

Ahadi sighed at Zuzu. "She didn't act like she was a threat. In fact, once I stopped hitting on her, she was very nice to me," he said.

[FlamingBee]

Zuzu raised one eyebrow; "People can be cruel Ahadi; some lionesses can pretend rather well... Your father doesn't want you to get mixed up in something you're unsure about."

As Zuzu finished speaking, Uru finally spotted the lion and bird together, but remained in the shadows unseeen.

Ahadi frowned. "I think she was different, Zuzu," he stated.
