This statement would lead me to believe that your argument WS, about the forum becoming spammy just because they want a member den, is not really the case. Clearly, one does not get a member den for post count alone, nor does it have to do with seniority. I think, assuming that the staff pays attention, that people who would spam just to try and get a den, wouldn't in the end. That's always how it's been, and it worked just fine that way. If this forum is so active and as big as it's being touted to be, you're always going to have those type of people, yet the system that has been in place ever since the member dens were introduced, has seemed to kept the forum in relative harmony as far as quality of posts go. I can safely say that simply removing a perk such as getting a member den, will, by no means, improve the quality of posts by all members, cause why strive to be a good member in the first place if there's nothing to show for it? That's just the way people are. They want something for their contributions. Is that right? Yes, and no.
I thought the webpage and email only was a part of the den thing too, or becoming staff, as far as I recall?
