The Forest on Elk Ridge (Always Open)

Rzu scented again, feeling the shifting gait of the elk beneath him. He felt a thrill, wondering where this would all lead. Rzu flicked his tail, watching the trees and plants.

Aleeni turned and began to move with the herd, walking beside another female. She kept her head up and watched Vesir ahead.

[Misiziri]

( I have to take a break for a little while, I'll be back in an hour or so )

Resora flew overhead, more excited than anyone else.

About an hour passed, Vesir hooves were a little sore from walking. The calves groaned.

[Actually same here! ]

Rzu shook his head, trying to stay awake. It was more comfortable than expected up on the antlers.

Aleeni sighed softly. Her hooves ached the slightest, and she felt bored by the constant plodding.

[Misiziri]

(I'm bawk.)

Resora had been complaining the whole time. She couldn't sit still unless she was tired.

"Man, when are we gonna get there? I'm bored of looking out!"

"Alright, alright! I've had enough of your constant complaining!" Vesir snapped.

"Hee hee!" She giggled.

"Rzu, mind rising up on my antler's and keeping a lookout while Resora rests?"

Thor looked around. "Well, hopefully we'll get there soon. I need to make a kill. I'm starving," he said.

Some of Vesir's heard became uneasy. He sensed this. "Alright. We will continue ahead, you can pick up our scent. You may go hunt, but please don't take too long!" he urged

Thor nodded. "Don't worry, we won't," he said. He and his pack then split off and went to make a kill.

Vesir continued marching forth, comforting the two calves along the way.

Rzu slithered higher up, his body undulating easily. He perched on the topmost point, scanning the land.
