Mwunga lifted her head, jaws dripping with water. "Hurry!" She turned and splashed across the puddle, fleeing deeper into the rocks. Shomari jumped up and followed, glancing back fearfully.

Velka followed, galloping through the black void to avoid any of Brista's pride that might squeeze through the crevace.

"I... can't get... thr-OUGH!" a lioness bursted as she plopped down into the cave. "Brista! It's too dark I can't see a thing! Ah! There's something crawling on my paw! Eww, what is it? Brista I want out!"

Mwunga heard the lioness's complaining, she suppressed a chuckle. She sprinted blindly ahead, dearly hoping she wouldn't hit anything.
Too late. SMACK!
Mwunga sprawled backwards, her forehead throbbing. "Aooowwwwhhh...." She groaned.

[Misiziri]

Velka gasped, "Okay? Head is not hurt too bad? I can't see if there's blood or not."

The lioness continued whining. "Daddy! I want out. Help me!"

"Alright, alright! But who else can fit through here?"

"Mom's not gonna come in just because you're mad at some weird zebra and 2 lions. She actually knows how to keep her cool," the lioness teased.

"I'm fine..." Mwunga moaned. She gingerly felt her head, but no blood. "I think we've hit the dead end."

[Misiziri]

Velka was relieved to hear Brista would probably give up chasing the gang.

"We wait till the family leaves and we get out... the we find the healing herbs and help Mwunga. Agreeable?"

[Zoketi]

"Yah.." Mwunga meowed weakly, sitting up with a paw on her head.

Shomari nodded, pressing against the lioness and looking up at her.

[Misiziri]

A long pause ensued.

"Alright. And yes, all is right. I think it's safe to go out now. It should be dusk now, we can go to sleep. I think agree we can that's a long day was today."

[Zoketi]

"Very long." Mwunga sighed. She lay back down and curled up, glad for Shomari's comfort.

[Misiziri]

Velka grinned. "That is sweet. And I do not mean sweet like a fruit. You two are lucky to have each other. Come on, I'll help you reach outside again."

He gestured for them to go towards the cravace in the cave.
