This left Kula and Tojo. She smiled shyly at the young male, glad that her fur could hide the fact she was blushing. "Hey Tojo, mind if I help feed the birds?"

'"Sure Kula! That's nice of you." He just began to trot right outside of Pride Rock, so he could dig up worms in the dirt for his birds. he hated to chew the worms for them, but it needed to be done.

Kula was on his heels, trying not to think of the revolting insects the birds chose to eat. She smiled as Tojo
began to dig.

*Scuff, scuff* "Aha!" Tojo exclaimed, burying his muzzle in the hole, squinting his eyes at the disgusting taste of crawlies in his jaws. He began to chew, trying to keep it off his tongue, then plopped them in one birdie's mouth at a time.

Kula kept the birds huddled together, not wanting to touch the creepy-crawlies; "You're really brave to hold them with your mouth like that Tojo, I think I'd gag!" She turned her head from the revolting habits of the birds and thought she spotted the other cubs coming out of the cave.

With the last bit of it, Tojo fed the smallest bird the best piece. "This one here needs to keep his strength up." Tojo pointed out, after trying to lick the taste off his mouth and lips. "Yick! I need to go down to the waterhole for a drink.."

"Sure, let's go..." She hopped down from the rock she and the birds had rested on with the flick of a tail, and padded beside Tojo as they walked to the waterhole; the others could catch up in a minute.

Tojo thankfully lapped at the water, his birds hopping and splashing around in it. "No,no! Get back on land!" Tojo picked two up placing them on his back, then the other two, doing the same. "There could be a croc in there.."

"There isn't any crocs round this area Tojo, they're down by the outlands border" Kula too lapped at the water thankfully.

Nala was in a deep sleep but woke up instantly. She saw her friends where gone and she ran off looking of them. She walked around and saw pawprints so she followed them. (Sorry for late reply, my laptop had to get fixed).
