Regina nodded. "So we can kill your nephew Simba," she said with a sigh, hoping that she wasn't irritating Zira too much with all of her questions.

Vitani awoke from everyone walking and yelling. Feeling no Mheetu beside her, she instantly thought he went hunting. Stretching her legs, she made her way to the royal den. Everyone was crowded around one area, crying. "Hey what's going-" She was cut off by the un-moving body of Sarafina. Tears flodded her eyes. "What?What!" She asked, crouching down to rest her head on Sarafina's stomach. "Not you too." She whispered, tears falling onto Sarafina's fur.

Kiara was already at the mourning when Vitani got there. Tears flooded her cheeks and stained her fur. "I didn't even get to say a proper good-bye." She nuzzled Simba's leg, and dried her tears. The smell of death filled the room.

Simba went to his sister's side. "It was her time, 'Tani. She was from Father's era," he said. As sadness began to well up inside him, he looked at Kiara. "She's gone to a better place, Kiara. A place where she'll never be sick, sad, hungry or thirsty again," he stated.

"Promise, Dad?" Kopa sniffled, licking his grandma's head softly.

Simba smiled at Kopa. "Yes, Kopa. She lived a good life. The great kings and queens will welcome her," he said.

Zira nodded. "Mm-hm." She cuddled Vitani's replacement, and set her down beside her to suckle.
Kovu poked his head inside the cave. "Can I see?"
"Of course,"
Kovu walked in and knelt down next to his new sister. "She's so small," he whispered, so as not to scare her.

Monstro's mustard eyes widened as he looked down at his daughter, he was at a loss of words. No front limb? What is this...? he thought to himself. Realzing this was his flesh and blood he leaned his muzzle down and gave Shetani a lick. " Well...shes just born Kovu, shes a cub. Welcome to the family, Shetani." he muttered. He gave Zira a loving nuzzle and laid to his belly by her side, "Kovu, get Regina and go hunt us up some food. Be careful now, stay away from those Pride lands." he ordered.

Nala felt her own heart drop to her paws as she slowly stepped into the den, her blue eyes were already glossed with tears. Nala lowered her head and rubbed it against her mothers, she held it there for quite some time. The tears slid down her furry cheeks and she opened them to look at the others. "Grandma Fina is in a better place.." she choked out. The pain still hurt Nala and she seemed to be at a loss for words as she nestled her face into her mother's furry neck.

Mheetu stepped through the crowd and his mossy green eyes looked away, he couldn't stand looking at his mother. "Nala..?" he said softly sitting beside his sister. Nala stood to her paws and hugged Mheetu crying, he patted her back.

Dyanna ran to Vitani and nestled herself in her fur crying, "Tani, what do I do now?" she whispered looking up at her with glossy blue eyes.

"Okay. Come on, Gina, let's go get Folle." He walked to the area where he had slept last night, and nudged the lioness, who was still sleeping. "Hey, Folle. Wake up. Time for breakfast."

Regina awoke, yawned and got to her paws. She then went over to where Kovu and Folle were. Once there, she waited for Folle to wake up.

Vitani looked to Dyanna. "You have me, or my brother and Nala. Their still Shujaa too." She chocked out, nuzzling the cubs head. "Unless you want to take the journey home." She whispered, so she wouldn't start crying. Sitting up, she tried to stop crying.

Kiara sat back, "Not gonna let another death take away my happiness. Good bye Nana Sarafina. I love you." She whispered, tears still flowing. It was the first time in a while since she called her grandmother by her real name.
