The Mystics. *Private Arani and QOPR*

"I'm feeling much better, thank you." Hofu replied, smiling at the two lionesses standing in the opening. "I just need some more rest." The scars the evil spirit had left inside of him would take longer to heal, he knew that. The confusion, the regret..and, for some reason, shame. He couldn't help but blame himself for this happening, although he understood, deep down, that there was nothing he could have done to prevent it.

[Arani]

Hatari nodded, feeling bad for Hofu that he had to go through all of that, and wished that she could have prevented it or sensed it before. She then looked at Tahi and Huru, who both looked pretty ashamed of their actions. "See? Told ya so." They both nodded. Then, Tahi smiled at her.
"I'd rather be proven wrong by you two. It's better than diving a friend away." He slightly nodded his appriciation and approval to Hofu with a smile.

Hofu smiled at Tahi. "Well luckily it all worked out in the end. Let's just hope we'll never have to go through anything like this again. And even if something bad does happen in the future, I'm sure we can survive that, too."

[Arani]

Everyone nodded at his words. "After this I think we could survive anything." Hatari said with a smile. Isabella then walked in in a slightly cautious manner.

"Hey Bella." Tahi said, making everyone turn to look at her.

"Hey." she said quietly. "I... wanted to see how things were going." She looked at Hofu. She hadn't forgotten what he had done to her. And no matter what Vitani had said to her by the water hole, she wasn't fully convinced. "Are you... alright, Hofu?"

"He's fine now." Hatari said, giving an encouraging smile. "We sent the spirit that was controlling him away. He's back to normal."

Hofu gazed at Isabella and smiled.
"I sure am." he said kindly, wondering what on Earth he could have done to make her so suspicious, but deciding not to ask anyone about it just yet. He didn't want to know. He wasn't ready for it just yet.

[Arani]

Isabella looked at him for a few more moments, then smiled back at him. "Glad to hear it." She said. She then turned to Hatari. "I'm going to go take a walk. I'll stop by again later." With that, she ran off and away from Pride Rock.

(Sorry it's been so long, I've been really busy lately!)

Ayira smiled. She was very happy and relieved that Hofu had perked up, but she could also feel how tired he was, which made her slightly concerned. Surely he would be ok?
"Maybe...maybe you should get some sleep, Hofu." she said gently. "Maybe we all should." She added as her head began to hurt.

[Arani]

(Lol, it's no problem at all. ^^ Glad to see this going again!)

Hatari was noticing her limbs growing more and more stiff. A nap sounded pretty good right then. "Yes, I agree. Sleep sounds very nice right now." She yawned. "Night everyone, don't wake me up until winter." She smiled, then walked out of the small den and into the main den. Tahi looked at the others for a minute, then followed Hatari. There was an awkward silence in the room.

"Well... I'm going to go find Isabella. Later guys." He smiled, then walked out into the plains to find her.

Ayira took a deep breath. She opened her mouth to say something but decided against it, being alone with Hofu had made her feel quite nervous and she didn't want to say something stupid she'd regret later. No, it was better to simply not say anything at all, she thought as she slowly began to walk away. She would only make a fool of herself..
"Ayira?"
Her heart skipped a beat.
"Y-yes?"
"Well...goodnight."
Had she imagined it, or had his deep voice been trembling slightly? As if he, too, was trying to avoid sounding like a complete idiot...as if he was just as nervous as she was.
"Goodnight, Hofu." Ayira said, beaming. "I...um, see you tomorrow."
Her heart was still pounding as she walked out of the small den and entered the main one, but the thought of Hofu being nervous to speak to her felt strangely comforting. "He likes me." she thought to herself, suddenly certain that this was indeed, true.

[Arani]

(Aww... ^^ Well I got nothing really to say here so I guess I'll just skip to morning.)

The sun's rays hit Hatari's face the following morning. She groaned and turned away, obviously not ready to fully wake up. She could tell Tahi wasn't quite ready either, because he had to drag himself up and slowly walk out of the den. Hatari was still very sore from the day before. She knew that she would likely be in pain for some time. So, instead of sitting around and thiking about the pain, she too dragged herself up and out of bed. It was a beautiful day. It made it seem like absolutly nothing strange had happend those last few days. She then slowly made her way to the water hole. As she approched, a dark lion sat in the shadows. "Morning Hofu." She said with a smile.
