[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

He stared at his father a bit dissatisfied. Trying desparately to get Simba off of what he was doing, he simply mouthed the name 'Kovu'. Then he started regreting what he had done, that would only make his father angry that there was another strange lion here.

Simba realized what was going on. Chaka had mouthed 'Kovu' to him. Now, the young Outlander's scent was coming to him. He looked to Nala. "Nala, do you smell that?" he asked.

[Songo]

Nala lifted her nose and scented the young outland cub, there was a few fresh scents around Mheetu and Tani's were the strongest smelling of rain and flowers. She looked to Simba and nodded, "I smell him now...Chaka?" she said raising her eye brow at her son.

Dyanna heard that Simba and Nala smelled Kovu, she panicked. Quietly sneaking through the bushes she pushed Kovu, "Hurry get out of here...run as fast as you can. Come on Kiara...your parent know !" she snapped worried she'd get in trouble too.

Mheetu smiled, "Vitani is wonderful..." he answered. Giving his mother another muzzle he quietly made his way outside the den, taking notice of the falling sun he sighed. This was his home, but at the moment it didn't feel like it.

OOC:I guess i'll be Kovu.

Kovu felt the nudge from Dyanna and he looked to Kiara, "Meet me back here tonight.." he whispered. Taking a glance back he nodded to Dyanna and quickly high tailed it back towards the Out lands. He ran as fast as his paws could take him and refused to look back, reaching the outland territory he fell to the ground exhausted. Looking up he saw Monstro, "Dad...I met the Princess..I wanted to get some more information so I'm going back there tonight." he said lying slightly.

Monstro nodded, "Good boy. Relax your safe.." he said resting his large paw on his son's shoulders. His eyes narrowed at the Pridelands, "Did you find any other good information..?" he asked curiously.

Kovu looked up, "No..not to much...but a lioness and a lion returned I guess. They called them Vitani and Mheetu..." he muttered. "They got married.." he stated.

Monstro nodded and made his way towards Zira, "The Pride landers have just grown by two.." he growled angrily.

Simba was shocked by what had happened. "Nala, we should tell the pride to be wary. We have had an Outlander in our presence," he said.

Vitani laughed, "Well Nala, he treated me better than Nyembe did. We'd go on walks around the rain forest. Nyembe tried walking with me around the rain forest, he's a very boring person and very over protective." Vitani stopped to breathe again. "After spending time with Mheetu, I started to love him. Just look at him, what's not to love about him?" She playfully asked, not expecting an answer.

She turned to Simba, "Simba, Nyembe passed. I fell down a cliff trying to get the special marriage flower, he tried to save me. When he tried, I forgot to mention it was a very wet day, rocks started falling on him. He didn't survive the rock slide." Her voice trailed off, thinking if it wasn't for her stupid fall. Nyembe would still be living.

Folle has grown into a fine adolescent, top of her class in fighting. Her eyes have gotten more shiny and they always look glazed over with craze. She loved this pride, they ate every night. Food from the Pride Lands was not easily guarded. Most of the time, Folle would walk off by herself and kill in the Pride Lands. Only sharing with whoever saw her. She knew the Pride Lands, Princes, Princess, King and Queen. Watching them was easy for her, they only thought it was a baby zebra or possibly a white rock.

Folle walked up to Kovu, "Mind if I go to? I would love to meet more friends." She giggled, she did want more friends but she also wanted to go to keep a mere eye on Kovu.

Kiara watched Kovu run off. You're safe, she thought. Smiling, she ran to her parents. "Daddy! I almost caught him, he was to fast for me. I almost caught him." She eyed Chaka in a 'don't tell him' kinda way, when Nala and Simba weren't watching.

Simba nodded at Vitani and then turned to Kiara, not believing her for a moment. "Did you bring him here?!" he asked angrily.

Kiara gasped, "Do you really think I'll go to the Outlands and go and get him?! They would kill me, easily, if I crossed onto their lands." She looked at him, thinking he was crazy. Why would she go and GET him?

Simba nodded, believing his daughter. "Then how did he get here?" he asked aloud.

Kiara looked up, "By walking? Or possibly being sent here?" She gave a smirk at the first remark, the second remark was true.

Simba looked over at Kiara. "Either way, we must be careful. If you ever see him or another Outlander again, tell your mother and I immediately," he ordered.
