Ahadi grinned at Uru. "I'll be back before you know it," he told her, and left the den. He ran outside and took a deep breath of air. As he observed the animals assembling below him, he felt proud for Mufasa and Sarabi. A shadow passed him, and Ahadi looked up to spot Zuzu. "Zuzu, are things going accordingly?" he called out to the bird. Zuzu nodded mid-flight, signaling that the preparation were going as they were supposed to.

Ahadi smiled and may his way down Priderock in order to finish with the preparations and deal with any problems that might arise.


When Sarabi noticed Sarafina outside the den, she motioned for her friend to come inside. "Come on, Sarafina! You don't have to wait outside!" Sarafina walked inside as Sarabi nuzzled Mufasa. "I am so excited for today! I couldn't sleep because of it!" She told Sarafina. "How did your night go?"

As Uru finished putting the animals in their places and chatting with her own Pride she made her way towards Taka's den. She found him resting outside the den; alone, "Taka...will you be joining us to see Mufasa get married? I expect you there...you know." she said sharply. She gave her son a small nuzzle and waited on his response.

Sarafina came inside the den and hugged Sarabi, "My night was good." she whispered. Sarafina licked her paw and helped Sarabi groom places she couldn't reach well and they both got her sparkly clean for the wedding. Sarafina's green eyes widened, "You look stunning.." she said softly with a grin. She then turned her body to Mufasa, "Alright Muffy. We need to get you cleaned up!" she said stepping towards him.

Mufasa lifted his paws in protest, "Wait...I can groom myself.." he grumbled. His mane had finally touched around his ears and was looking kind of scruffy. Taking a moment Mufasa tried to groom himself properly, a sigh of frustration passed him as he tried to get all his mane to stay down.

Scar sighed. He did not want to attend Mufasa's ceremony, instead using the opportunity to remain alone. But he didn't want to upset his mother. "Alright, mom," he told her, "I'll attend the ceremony." He got up ad followed her back to Priderock.


Sarabi gave off a small laugh when Mufasa couldn't groom himself properly. Last night, Uru had taken her aside and told Sarabi of her marriage with Ahadi. Now it seemed like the same thing will happen with Mufasa. Sarabi grinned wickedly. "Sarafina, can you hold down Mufasa? I think we need to clean him up properly..." She told to her friend, smiling at Mufasa's fearful face. "Relax, Muffy. It's not going to hurt. I promise."

Sarafina stepped on Mufasa's tail to keep him from running, and Sarabi used the opportunity to clean and groom him. When she was done, Sarabi stood back and admired her work. "Much better!" she told Mufasa. She gave him a loving lick. "Your mother told me last night that when they got married, your mother had to clean up your father as well. Although apparently with what she told me, your father was much worse than you." Sarabi let out a small giggle as she told Mufasa the story.

Uru nuzzled Taka, "Good boy." she whispered softly. Stepping into the den she smiled at Mufasa, "My my...aren't you handsome. Good job Sarabi." she winked. Seeing the animals gather around Pride rock she looked to Sarafina and Taka, "You two go and stand with the Pride. Ahadi, Rafiki and I must speak with Sarabi and Mufasa. Then the ceremony will begin.." she ordered. Watching them leave she spied Rafiki and Ahadi making their way to the den, she looked to Sarabi and Mufasa. "This is a good day.."

Sarafina nodded and hugged Sarabi, "Good luck.." she whispered. She padded past Scar and didn't even acknowledge his presence, she found the Pride off to the side and quietly sat beside her mother. She waited.

Kamaria sat beside Mohatu with the Pride and watched everyone gather, her old bones ached. "I'm happy we got to see Mufasa marry...I remember feeling so happy on Uru's wedding day." she whispered to her aging mate. She nuzzled Mohatu's dark brown mane and smiled.

After being wrestled down by Sarabi and Sarafina he was happy his mother rescued him, seeing the others leave he gulped. It was finally time to marry Sarabi, he looked at her. She was beautiful. He gave Sarabi a nuzzle, "I'm glad you choose me..." he said with a smile. "The first day we met and you tackled me, I knew you were always going to be a challenge." he added chuckling. Seeing Ahadi enter with Rafiki he smiled, "Dad..Rafiki" he said bowing his head respectively.

Mohatu smiled and nuzzled his wife. "I can still remember that day so clearly," he told her. "One of the proudest moments of my life." Together, Mohatu and Kamaria waited for Mufasa's and Sarabi's marriage ceremony to begin.


Sarabi was about to say something to Mufasa when she noticed him bow his head. She rushed to imitate her future husband, not wanting to look foolish. "My king, ...Rafiki?" She said, but unsure if she heard the second name correctly.


Ahadi walked into the den with Rafiki, and was greeted by Mufasa and Sarabi. He laughed a little when they bowed, with Sarabi looking rather nervous. "Come on now, no need for that," he said, half laughing, "We are all family here." He laughed a little more when the two of them looked up, both with red faces.

He cleared his throat as he began to explain the ceremony: "Uru and I will go up to the tip of Priderock with Rafiki," Ahadi explained. "He will then call you. You will go up to the top and stop in between Uru and I, where all the animals will see you. We will then call Sarabi, and she will walk up to us, and stand beside you. Rafiki will give a speech, which you should listen to, and just do as he says. I don't want to spoil too much of the fun." Ahadi finished, with a strong feeling of Déjà vu, like he said almost exactly what Mohatu had told him during his marriage with Uru. Ahadi grinned a little at the memory of his own marriage. He still remembered like was only yesterday. Just like the day he first met Uru down at that waterhole...

It was the moment the animals laid eyes on Rafiki at the edge of Pride rock, silence hushed the lands. A smile across the monkeys face he nodded to Mohatu and Kamaria watching with the Pride. He stepped to the side as Uru and Ahadi made their way out to speak...

Uru walked beside Ahadi and she nuzzled him quickly before reclining infront of the animals, her honey colored eyes flickered. "Animals, today we are celebrating the marriage of our first born. Ahadi and I are both very proud of Mufasa." she said with a very large grin. She looked up at Ahadi and listened as he spoke to the animals. She watched Rafiki look back at the den and motion for Mufasa to make his appearence.

Mufasa felt the butterflies fill up his stomach as he looked at Sarabi, "See you out there.." he whispered. He stood tall and proud and walked out of the den into the sunlight, he felt the rays warm his pelt. Standing beside his mother he looked to Rafiki and bowed, a smile on his muzzle.

Sarafina watched Mufasa make his way out and she got excited, her green eyes squinted as she looked for her best friend.

Sarabi smiled and advanced up Priderock nervously. She sat down besides Mufasa and let Rafiki proceed with the ceremony. Scarcely able to believe what was happening, she let the monkey's words flow over her as she waited. Before she knew it, Mufasa roared next to her, and then it was her turn.

Grinnig, Sarabi roared as loudly as she could to signify her marriage to the future king of the Pridelands. Done roaring, she nuzzled Mufasa. "We're married!" She whispered into his ear as below them, the animals bowed. Sarabi looked on, feeling proud and excited.

With the ceremony completed, Sarabi forced Mufasa to follow her as she searched for Sarafina. They found her friend, and Sarabi ran over. "We're married, Sarafina!" She shouted, excited. "I can't believe it! We're married!"

Uru sat beside Ahadi proudly as the animals squawked,roared and chattered at the beautiful wedding. She nuzzled her face into his dark brown mane, "Look at our baby Ahadi, hes all grown up." Uru saw her mother and father approach and she hugged her mother. "They look good together.." she added smiling.

Kamaria smiled, "They were grinning asmuch as you and Ahadi did when we married you." she chuckled. She gave Mohatu's cheek a lick and lovingly nuzzled him, "Come on Mohatu, lets go rest." she whispered slowly making her way into the den.

Uru watched her parents make their way into the den and she turned back to Ahadi, "Did you see Taka at the ceremony?" she asked curiously her eyes scanned the groups of animals looking for her other son.


Mufasa nuzzled Sarabi's neck fur and smiled, "We are one now..forever.." he whispered. He watched Sarabi chatter with Sarafina and he stood by waiting and he say goodbye to the animals as they left.

Sarafina smiled and hugged her best friend tightly, "I'm so happy for you. You and Mufasa looked good together up there!" she said smiling. She nodded to Mufasa and looked back at Sarabi, "Soon you two will have the crown and then cubs! All that good stuff.."

Mohatu grinned. "I am so glad that we are around to see our grandchild to get married. It is such a great day!" He took a deep breath of the fresh air before slowly following Kamaria back into the den.


Ahadi scanned the crowds below, but didn't see Taka. "No. I didn't see him." He admitted. "I would think that he would be at least willing to show up to his own brother's marriage."


Sarabi was surprised by Sarafina's hug, but she smiled and hugged back. "Thanks," she said, "One day, you will have them too. I am sure of it." She told her friend. "Then you will be one with some lion as well." Looking up, Sarabi was shocked to see another arrival. "Look, it's Taka" She announced.


Sure enough, Scar emerged from the assembled animals and walked over to the lions. "I am so happy for you, Sarabi, Brother." He said. "Enjoy your marriage." Just like that, Scar turned and disappeared back into the dispersing animals as quickly as he arrived.

Uru nudged Ahadi a moment and motioned for his head to look towards the Sarabi and Mufasa, they watched Taka say a few words and disappear. "I wonder what hes been doing Ahadi...oh it breaks my heart." she murmured. She felt the breeze blow past her fur and her honey colored eyes looked up at Ahadi, "You can teach Mufasa how to be a King now. I will teach Sarabi the importance of being a Queen and Patrolling and leading the hunts. Also, when were those loners suppose to come to the Pride lands? It would be nice to see some fresh faces..." she added.

Mufasa's brown eyes narrowed a bit at Scar and he nodded at his words, he noticed how quickly Scar turned to leave. A snort left his nostrils and Mufasa looked back at Sarabi, "Come on Sarabi, lets go enjoy our wedding day.." he said his muzzle nuzzling at her neck playfully. He looked up at Sarafina, "We will catch you tomorrow Saffy. Enjoy your day." he added.

Sarafina watched the couple and she smiled awkwardly, nodding her head she slowly began her trek back up to Pride rock. Relaxing outside the den she heard her mother rustle a bit, her green eyes squinted as she looked back at her and smiled. "Beautiful wasn't it?" she asked.

Mya nodded, she laid by Saffy's side. They resembled twins except Mya was a larger older version, she chuckled, "My beautiful daughter, you will have your turn." she whispered nuzzling her little one. "What seems to be troubling you..?" she asked.
