[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Nala stood beside Simba and put a paw on his shoulder, "Simba.." she spoke softly trying to calm him. Her ears perked forward, "Come on cubs..." she ordered in a soft tone. Her blue eyes nodded as Kiara started to make her way over here, she looked at Chaka and Kopa.


Dyanna sat on her hinds quietly near Mheetu, she looked up at him. "Delano and Tempy married. I'm glad shes good..." she whispered softly. Her bright eyes blinked a moment and she looked at Vitani, "You and Mheetu are together? What happened with you and Nyembe?" she asked curiously.

Mheetu paused a moment and quietly spoke to Dyanna, "Nyembe got hurt in a rockslide you see and Addana took over the crown..." he said giving Dyanna a nod to wait until later to speak.

Chaka looked up at his aunt and uncle. The fact that he hadn't spoken was because he was trying to pick up their scents from the past. He had already picked up a bit of Vitani from his father, and a bit of Mheetu from his mother. Then it suddenly all came back to him, "Aunt 'Tani! Uncle Mheetu!" he yelled running to them hugging their legs. "You're finally back!" he chuckled aloud.

Simba was proud of Chaka. "Good job, son. Now for your brother and sister," he said.

Kiara nodded, "Sorry father, I was just waiting until it was right for me to speak." She respectfully said, "Hello Aunt 'Tani, and Uncle 'Etu. I give my hopes to your marriage and future family!" Smiling, she nuzzled them both.

Vitani nuzzled Kiara, "Great to see you again. You've grown a lot!" Laughing she blushed when Kiara said future family. Turning to Mheetu, hoping he'd notice her blushing about future family's and how much she wanted cubs of her own.

Simba also noticed Vitani's blushing. "So, 'Tani, any plans for cubs?" he asked playfully.

Vitani stared down Simba, "Not yet." She whispered in embarrassment. Her cheeks were still bright red.

Kovu's ears perked up. Cubs? Cubs, as in, possible heirs? If Simba was killed, then Kopa could overthrow Kovu's rightful throne. If Kopa was killed, Chaka could overthrow his throne. Then Kiara. But with this new threat, Vitani, Mheetu, and their cubs.... Well, the adults were strong, and the cubs... Well, killing was not easy.

Simba continued looked at Vitani. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to embarrass you. I was just asking," he said.

Vitani laughed, "It's okay Simba." She nuzzled him in a forgving way.

Nala poked at her mate, "Simba.." she chuckled with a smile. "That is Mheetu and Vitani's decision when they are ready.." she smirked winking a blue eye at her little brother. Feeling satisfied that the cubs would talk more with their Aunt and Uncle later, Nala stood to her paws. "Come on lets head back to Pride rock and talk some more." Nala said leading the way, she looked back at her cubs, "You four be back before dark." she scolded softly.


Mheetu blushed at Simba's comment and he nuzzled Vitani, following behind his sister he walked with the group back to Pride rock. Letting Vitani catch up by his side he nuzzled her once more, "Cubs would be nice.." he whispered with a smirk.

Seeing the adults leave Dyanna froze and shook Kiara, "Are you crazy!? If your parents catch him...hes going to get into trouble." she whispered softly. Even though she knew Kiara meant well, she followed behind her best friend quietly.
