Uzuri, another pride lioness, was ready. "I'm ready, Mapito. Let's go," she said.

"Will you be the only one joining me?" she laughed, "Well, I guess... whoever doesn't hunt doesn't eat."

Uzuri looked at the other lionesses, as if to tell them to do what they needed to do. "We will help," they said.

[changa]

"Okay! What's your plan for breakfast? Antelope, ratel, gazelle?"

[KingKovu44]

Uzuri smiled. "How about gazelle? There are some near here," she said.

[changa]

"Good idea! Alright, let's roll." She crouched in the grass, hardly noticed. With a twitch of her ear, she sent a lioness behind the herd, and one as close to it as possible. Then she began to run.

Uzuri sunk low into the grass, ready for the kill.

A quick tail twitch told Uzuri to come forward. She would be the one to really scare the herd.

Uzuri took the hint and sprang into action, scaring the gazelles towards the other lionesses.

Uru, meanwhile, had been trying to come up with an answer to Ahadi's question... "I'm not too sure..." She knew the answer was probably unsatisfying considering he'd waited so long, but none the less she gently nuzzled his cheek, a slight purr as she spoke again: "But I'm sure you'll make a wonderful father."
