Kovu saw that the girls had seen him, and puffed his chest out slightly. When he noticed the two boys running behind, he stopped. Competition.

Zira nodded slowly, and then yawned. "Yes. Okay." And then she was asleep.

Simba followed Nala down the path and looked at Vitani, rubbing heads with her as a greeting. "Welcome home, Vitani. Where's your new mate?" he asked excitedly.

Vitani blushed, "Right beside me." She whispered, glancing over at Mheetu. Waiting and waiting for this moment to happen. Anger or happiness? She asked herself about her brother.

Kiara noticed the brown cub in the bushes, she crouched down and bolted to him, tackling him to the ground. Laughing. "Mine name's Kiara!" She flirted, stepping off Kovu.

Simba's jaw dropped open. "Mheetu? You married Mheetu? 'Tani, he's younger than you," he said, his current emotion being one of shock.

Vitani laughed, "Yes and that doesn't stop me from being happy? Now does it?" She winked, laughing at her brothers state of shock.

Simba sighed. "No. If he makes you happy, no one should say anything. However, I must ask. Does he treat you right and with respect?" he asked.

Vitani stopping laughing. "Of course he does!" She answered, glancing over at Mheetu and Nala having a wonderful reunion.

Simba smiled upon hearing that. "Very well, Vitani. I give my blessing. May you two be happy forever. Mother and Father are smiling upon you two from the realm of the great kings and queens," he said.

Nala hugged Mheetu tightly and then let him stand back to his paws, she pulled Vitani close. "Tani, so glad to see you. Wait...Mheetu? " she said with a surpised look and glanced back at him. "My brother Mheetu? Mother will be so happy.." she said looking back at them. Giving Simba a nuzzle she stood beside him and gestured for them to head back up to the den. "Mom and dad are both growing old. But you'll see the cubs soon, they are off playing and will be home in time for dinner. They always are.." she said with a chuckle. Stepping inside the den where Sarafina was resting she rubbed her head off her mothers, "Mheetu's back with Vitani...they are mates now." she added smirking.

Mheetu stood up and bowed his head to Simba, "Simba, I hope you don't mind. It happened all so fast and we love each other. I don't want to be without Vitani..." he said softly. Following behind the two he stepped into the den and nuzzled his mother's neck, "Mom, im back.." he said green eyes gazing into hers. His eyes flickered with sadness he could tell the pain she was experiencing, he frowned slightly.

Sarafina nuzzled Mheetu back, "The Great Kings have answered my prayer and brought my baby home." she said half hugging his large body and fluffy mane. "Look how much your grown and your mane..Vitani is your mate now?!" she said with a surprised look.

Mheetu nodded and stepped back letting Vitani step forward, "Yes, I realized what I was looking for was Vitani. She was all I needed to realize exactly where I wanted to be.." he muttered.

Dyanna trotted after Kiara and she looked down at the pinned young lion, she growled slightly. Seeing Kiara be playful with Kovu, Dyanna glanced back at Kopa and Chaka. "Who is he..?" she asked curiously.

Shujaa looked at his son. "My son, it seems that you and Princess Vitani truly love each other. Treasure your love for eternity," he said.
