Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Ok after I completely failed at posting this topic in the correct spot, here it is. So obvisously this is a discussion on the book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and some discussion on the two part movie to come in the near future.

I didn't really like it.
It seemed like they gave Rowling a certain number of pages and she had to adjust the whole story to that. I didn't like how it ended, I guess.

I personally think the last is my favorite. I thought Rowling put the whole story together in the end, putting most un-answered questions in this and they finally weren't at hogwarts, they went on the adventures to find the horuxes (?). I just think everything flowed together and the fight scene with Harry and Voldermort was so amazing, i felt like i was watching an action movie or something.

To me, it looked like JK Rowling had crammed together everything she hadn't written in the past six books into the seventh one. I also really hated the epilogue, and the fact that Harry, Ron, and Hermione spent the first half of the book traveling kind of annoyed me. Otherwise, Deathly Hallows was fantastic.

^agreed with DL about that last bit, though even better was MOLLY WEASLY VS BELLATRIX LESTRANGE!!! I think I must have shouted aloud when I read that part! Holy crap, best-fight-EVAR! Like, Molly is my hero now <3 she's the most awesome character in harry potter... along with neville's grandmother. Both mega-awesome BAMF witches@!

It was a good book. but it did kinda suck. Like, Harry lives a second time because his mom's love is still in effect? wtf?
