orry that this is a headshot.. I got lazy. Anyway this is my version of Nala's father.

My theory is that Mufasa being the wise king he was, let rouge males in the pride temporarily to avoid inbreeding. However one male Kalap was kind of a jerk,and very power hungry so Mufasa denied him access to any of the females.
Feeling sorry for him Sarafina snuck off and visited him frequently.
On one of these visits Sarifina is not careful,and is followed by Scar.
Scar confronts her about it several times. but she ignore him, and continues to see the rouge. Months later she learns of her pregnancy along with Scar.
Scar very jealous lies to Kalap (who is still in hiding) that Sarifina is carrying Scars Child.
Kalap though disinheartened leaves the way he came there was other females he could play with.
Scar tells Sarifina that Kalap left because of another.
Sarifina not knowing of Scars deceit is heart broken and afriad that Mufasa will kill her unborn cub if he knew it was Kalaps.
So Scar proposes that if she makes him gaurdian of the cub,he will cover up her little "mistake" by saying that it is his cub not Kalaps.
Thus Nala was born never knowing the knowledge of her real father or understanding why when Scar became king he didn't let her suffer the same fate as all the other cubs, who died by his claws.
