Happy 10 Year Anniversary!

Well, this is really belated but, Happy 10th Anni TLK2SP! ^^ Let's see. When I first saw TLK2SP on the day it was released on VHS, I can honestly tell you that I didn't like it much. Like many people, I was hoping for a very similar style of story and plot as the first movie and was completely shocked about how different the story turned out to be. The way Simba was different, both in character and looks, the way Nala was downplayed and how the young male cub at the end of TLK had suddenly morphed into a female. lol. ^^ So I was really turned off from the movie for a short while, that is, until my brother rented the movie once more and I actually sat down with an open mind and watched it for what it truly was, an original story, with the same characters I knew and love, with new ones added in who I would also fall in love with, some more than others. lol. After that point though, TLK2SP slowly became my favorite movie out of the series and still is, although the original is right behind its sequel on my favorites list. ^^

Just on a side note, here is the 10th Anniversary Fan Made Trailer I made for TLK2SP's 10th Anni. ^^ Hope you all like it, although it's old now, seeing as we're nearing the 11th Anniversary soon. lol. ^^

Hehe, thank you both Moka and Solle, for your awesome feedback. ^^ I'm glad you both liked the trailer. lol, no Moka, I didn't but believe me, I would have if it was offered in the school I went to. ^^ I guess I've just seen so many movie trailers that it's just rubbed off on me on how to present them. Plus since I'm nuts about anything TLK, that helps a bit too. ^^

LOL! I know I am kinda late, but my memories of watching TLK2SP, is... well...
Ok, so I travel to Canada alot to see family and all that. And I live with my grandmother. So, I was just watching the kids channel (TreeHouse to be exact) and then I got sick of it because some weird program I hated came on. So I looked through my grandmothers movies and BOOM! There it was! The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride.

So, I went and asked my dad to put it on. And I watched and watched and watched and watched. And I fell in love with it! The rest of the summer I was watching that and only that. And that summer I also learn't how to use a the video player!

anyway, Happy (very very very very LATE!) Birthday to TLK2SP!

Hmm, what age was I when I first saw TLK2SP? I'm not sure, but I know I saw it at my Grandmother's house.. It wasn't as good as the first one. Then again..the first movie is always and will remain a true Disney classic! Hmm, I can't remember that far back when I first saw the sequel. Anyways, it was great! I loved the new characters, Kovu... Zira.. Nuka, but I kind of wish they'd put Kopa in it! Since the cub at the end of the first movie was male.. and now Kiara..well is female...I really thought she was going to be a boy. >.> But the second movie was great. Not as great abd fablous as the first one! I still love all the songs in it. "He Lives in You" and "We are One" are my number one two favorites!

I thought TLK2SP came out in October..not in June or July.
