"Yeah it is getting quite cool. You deers ok?" Ash said staring up at the buck and doe.

After hearing that the deer were OK, the group moved on. After much walking, they arrived at the palace core. To Cheng's shock, it was a frozen solid cavern. "Well, I think I found the source of the chill," he said.

"Darn." Ash remarked. "Ok no one talk loudly, scream, yell, or do anything louder than a whisper." Ash whispered loud enough so everyone could here. "I don't want you guys getting impaled by stalactites." Ash said looking from one of the animals to the other than back straight where she was originally looking.

Cheng looked ahead further and saw that there were also stretches of icy water as well. "Also, try not to fall into the water. It's ice cold and will kill you quickly," he said.

"Alright." Ash said. "Let's head in."

Because he was a Snow leopard, the chill wasn't having much of an effect other than him feeling it. The journey continued. "Well, so far no Kremlings," he said. He sighed. "We'll probably meet some soon," he added.

"Yea." Ash agreed walking behind the group.

Finally, they exited the icy core and moved into more castle. "We will meet K. Rool soon. Everyone be ready," Cheng stated.

"Alright I'm ready to kick some butt." Ash replied.

Cheng smiled and nodded. He then looked upwards. "Mei, I do this in the name of your safety, the safety of our unborn cub, and for the safety of everyone else," he declared. The trek moved on. Soon, they found themselves in a chamber. Suddenly, a shadow appeared on the wall. "I wonder, what are you doing here?" the voice said in a menacing tone. The group turned to see a tubby crocodile standing there. He snarled. "I, King K. Rool, demand to know what you are doing in my house!" he said.
