TLK and OT yes ^^
I think there's some aspects of TLK that could be considered adult, if looked at in the right light. But I think with the free rein, people would want to discuss other things too

It can not see how it is any different to The Den... There has been plenty of threads there about Osama Bin Laden, religion and all sorts and nothing bad has really spouted from them.

Because we'd be able to go more indepth with things that might frighten or disgust younger members. I think either make an adult board and talk about still there, or allow more freedom of topics in the main forum.

That is my point, discussing things in an adult manner does not mean you be disgusting on purpose, therefore I have a feeling it would just turn out to be a den v2.0 kind of thing.
EDIT - But I do not think it would hurt either way...

Outside sexuality (which I really have no need to discuss either in context of TLK or in real life on a web board) I don't see what we can really talk about that's going to require an adult forum. Religion, politics, and murder (being a large theme in the movie) are already being covered and I don't see how going any more in depth to any of them would make them any more or less appropriate (obviously discussing gruesome murder or torture or something like that would be inappropriate, but why would we ever discuss that?) What are some examples of things that would be inappropriate for MLK right now (excluding sexuality) that an adult forum would allow us to discuss?

Possiblity of incest, mental health (of chars like scar, zira) possible rape of nala (and other lionesses) under scars reign, infanticide of all but nala?

I think mental health and infanticide would be fine for the board. As for rape and incest, I don't know what to say because I personally have no interest in discussing that. If there is a strong desire among people to discuss that, then I guess that merits the adult forum. In that case I have no real opinion one way or another because it won't really concern me.
