Kopa stirred, mumbling a quiet 'Mama' but did not awake. He buried himself deeper in his father's fur as a sense of safety settled over his dreams and Mohatu appeared no more.

Simba sighed. "Oh my son, I will protect you," he said to Kopa.

Kopa said nothing, just began drooling.

Simba watched his son sleep, and then looked to the sky. "Father, and all the great kings and queens of the past, protect my cubs and help me guide them," he said.

"I just.... oh, gosh, I can't believe... GENI!" Zira pounced on her sister, still overwhelmed with the realization.

Geni fell back onto the ground as air rushed from her lungs at impact. "Hehe...you too, Zir," she gasped.

Regina smiled at the sight. "Well, what a lovely reunion!" she stated.

Geni grinned up at Regina. "Guess so!"

Monstro looked to Geni and Zira, "Lets get some sleep, you can chatter more in the morning." he said in a growling tone. He was tired and the chatter began to give him a headache. He rested his head on his paws by Kovu and slowly began to fall back asleep.


Nala's ears twitched at the sound of Simba's voice and she lifted her head to look at him, "Simba...whats wrong?" she asked softly. Her blue eyes glowed in the darkness of the den but she could still make out the shadow of his powerful mane.
