"Kovu's Bug" - I really liked this one. It gives more depth to the characters and nicely reinforces Kovu as Scar's adopted son and heir. I would have liked to see it in the movie.
"Nuka's Real Last Words" - I don't really think it added too much, other than to maybe resonate with Zira. But I can live without it being in the movie. I mean, we all know Nuka felt bad about not being noticed by Zira. So it doesn't add much for character development (plus we already have that "Do you see me mother? I'm doing this for you. And I'm doing it for me." sequence).
"Another Cub" - Didn't like it. At all. Adds nothing to the story.
"Simba's Cub" - Love this scene. Nice to see more interaction between Zira and all 3 of her cubs, plus see more of the roots of her obsession with training Kovu.
"Zira's Suicide" - I think this is one of those really weird scenes. It fits Zira's character way more than the way she dies in the movie and really rounds out who she is. However, suicide has NO place in a children's movie. So while I like the suicide scene better, I think Disney (in this case) made the right decision putting the "weaker" death scene in.
