Lion King 4 Petition

Re: Lion King 4 Petition

Trust me people it'd take more than 3000 signatures to convince Disney or any movie producing company for that matter. Most movies take AT LEAST a couple million to make and sorry to say that 3000 people who guarantee to come won't make up for it.
It is true that more than that would show up regardless (I mean most people who want another might not know about the petition) but they'd still need enough support and facts that show that a majority of people are going to show.

Besides one question we all should ask ourselves is 'do we want another Land Before Time mess to start again?' because odds are we wouldn't, no one would, I mean what number are they on now? 19 or something?

The past is a gaping hole. You try to run from it, but the more you run, the deeper it grows behind you, its edges yawning at your heels. Your only chance is to turn around and face it. But it's like looking down into the grave of your love, or kissing the mouth of a gun, a bullet trembling in its dark nest, ready to blow your head off.

I do believe hope is out of the question, however far we may take it. Couple million is like...well, everything is possible, but this is like less possible than Bigfoot living in my neighborhood. Lol.

Just to clarify what I meant by Millions I meant money and people, big movies (big enough to go into theaters, not to mention good movies) take millions of dollars to make so they need to make sure they can make a profit.
I just looked at the signatures and multiplied it buy normal ticket price (both adult and children tickets separately) added it up and even by doubling it they would only have made $61,640.5 thousand dollars. Now multiply that by 28 (four weeks) and they'd have made 1,725,934 million dollars, and that's if all 8084 people went to see it every day.

In the opening four weeks the first Lion King made $174.3 Million dollars in the US. They made that much when ticket sales were cheaper than they are now.

See my point, we can Only Hope that Disney decides to make another.

mmm, true, but how many signatures were there when disney made the new Bambi movie? Probably zero, and they did it anyway. All these signatures just shows that TLK means more to the movie-going community than the average film.

Well u have to think, the new bambi movie, was to clarify what happen to bambi after his mother died, and fill in that huge time gap between the first movie when he finally grows up. The lion king 1 1/2 was the same as the bambi two movie, but now they have nothing left to go on.
