Simba's life in the jungle with a twist

Kasa awaited for Simba to return with his goal.

"A teacher of sorts now uh, Kasa?" a voice came from above. There, laying on a low branch but high enough to keep him out of view was the jaguar, Jamal. He had been watching the for quite some time when he realized his old friend Kasa was associating with them. He smirked down at them, his tail swaying slightly.

"Jamal? Is that you? Wow it's been a while eh?" Kasa said looking up at the tree branch. "What have you been up to?" Kasa asked smileing up at her friend.

"Well I've been up in the tree for a while if that's what you mean" he joked before getting up and easily climbing out of the tree. "Not much, sleep, hunt, sleep some more. My usual, this jungle's a great place to stay"

"Yeah it is. And apparently a great place to meet new friends and old." Kasa said. "My have you grown." Kasa said watching Jamal come out of the tree, "How long has it been?" Kasa said.

Meanwhile in the pridelands once again Sarabi had trouble getting to Scar, "Scar you have to help, the whole pride is hurt!" Sarabi shouted to Scar, "If Mufasa was here we wouldn't have such a problem!" She tested the king once again.

"Years maybe, who's keeping track?" Jamal said as he stretched and then made his way over to Kasa. "You've grown some too, but not as much unfortunately" he chuckled as he sat next to her. "Friend or food?" he asked with a small smirk looked at Kidogo.

Kasa chuckled, "Thats Kidogo he's a friend that I met out here." Kasa explained.

"Oh I see. Hello kidogo, your off my menu...for now" he joked giving Kidogo a single nod. "My name's Jamal, you can call me J if you'd like"

Kasa looked over at Kidogo, "J is an old friend of mine I think I met him in the pridelands. Before I moved here, I really don't remember I don't live too much in the past like Timon and Pumbaa say Hakuna Matata." Kasa explained before looking back at Jamal, "So when did you come out here?" Kasa asked her old but dear friend.

"Been here for a while, more like visits but now I live here. Ever since the Pridelands began to go under I decided going back was pointless, can't imagine why those lions would stay" Jamal said looking off into the distance as if trying to picture something. "If it's gotten no better they starve at that rate"
