Simba took some lamb and began to eat. He took several looks at Nala. "Your highness, your daughter is truly as beautiful as I've heard," he said. In his mind, he began thinking of a way to impress her.

" Yes, well lets just say Mufasa and I need our space right now." Sarabi said, not wanting to go into the details as she sat down to enjoy the meal.

Kovu looked at simba, he guessed his "Brother was thinking of a way to impress her. "Hey Simba, why not show everyone here that cool Genie you got, you know the one promised to set free when we got here." Kovu said as grinned at Simba.

Simba was shocked. "Not now, Kovu. I will soon, but not now. I was thinking of taking her on a magic carpet ride. What do you think of that?" he whispered.

"And you're as handsome as Mufasa and Sarabi described to me." said Queen Sarafina.

She turned to Sarabi, hearing about Mufasa.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully things will smooth over between you." said Queen Sarafina, as she continued eating her meail.

Eden had been sitting next to Kovu and Simba and heard their conversation.

"Maybe you should do it when your mind is clear. If you make another wish by accident, he won't be freed." whispered Eden.

Vitani couldn't hear what they were saying and focused on eating. She was also thinking of a way to get the lamp from Simbia and to her parents before he made his third wish.

Nala watched Simba, curious. She was starting to come around. He did seem different than the others but it could still all be an act. Perhaps when they were alone, she could see how he really was.

Simba looked at his brother and friend. "I'll worry about Genie later. Right now, I'm going to need your help to impress Nala tonight. I'll tell you my plan in a bit," he whispered.

"Ok. I'm sure tonight will be fun." said Eden, as she resumed eating.

Zira ate. After a few days of being on the road, she was glad to relax once more. As she resumed eating, a smirk crossed her face. Soon the plan she and Scar had worked on would be complete. She then put on a fake smile, in case anyone was paying attention to her.

Eden glanced up.

"Is she smirking?" she thought.

But soon it was gone, and she shrugged it away, and shuddered. Zira and Scar did give her the creeps and she decided to avoid them when possible.

"So tell me Simba, where did you get a flying carpet? I thought those were myths." said Nala.

Simba smiled sheepishly. "Well, I found it by accident while searching the Agrabah royal treasury. If you like, I can take you on a ride on it tonight. We can get out of the palace, see the world," he said.

Kovu thought about that for a second. " Simba, how is it even possible to see the worrld in a single night?" He asked. However Sarabi cut in. " Kovu, he's just going to show her parts of the world she's never seen before." The sultana replied to her "Son". "Besides, Flying carpets are able to travel great distances in a short period." Sarabi told Kovu. "Ok, then why didn't we ride the carpet over here?" Kovu asked before taking a bite out of a piece of lamb. Sarabi couldn't help but chuckle. "You'd best take it up with the genie, by the way simba, I think Kovu raises a good point, you promised the genie his freedom after two wishes, you made two wishes. You put it off till we got here, we're here. I'm worried someone could steal it from under your nose and you'd never know till it was too late." Sarai said. "Like this?" Kovu asked, holding up the lamp with a sheepish smile. Sarabi gave Kovu the "Mom" Look and returned the lamp to simba. "Yeah Simba, that lamp could make scar the sultan." Kovu said.

Scar heard Sarabi and looked at her for a moment before turning back. "Mother, Kovu, I promise to free Genie. I just want to make sure everything goes well with Nala first," he said rather nervously. He looked down rather nervously. "So, do you two like my idea?" he asked, looking first at Sarabi and then at Kovu.

"I haven't been outside of the palace much. That carpet ride sounds like fun." said Nala.

Vitani listened as Kovu said the lamp could make Scar king.

"If only you knew how close you were to the truth." thought Vitani.

"You have a genie? asked Sarafina, interested.

"Simba, while you're on your date with Nala someone should really watch that lamp for you. What if you lost it?" said Vitani.

"She's right. Your highness, could we put in the Faiyz vault?" said Eden.

"Yes you may. Simba, until you free the Genie, that lamp is highly desirable. We must lock it in the Faiyz vault so no one gets their hands on it. There are two keys, which only Kasim and I have so it will be safe." said Sarafina.

"Great. Now how are going to get the lamp?" thought Vitani.

"All we have to do is steal one of the keys and get into the vault. Everyone else will be so busy they won't pay attention to us. It's almost too easy." thought Zira.
