It should be noted that the theatrical release is only scheduled to run for two weeks though, in order to hype up the release of the Blu-Ray releases so if you wanna see it in theaters, you better act fast. It's sad that it's only in 3D, but the theater experience will still be just as good as it was in 94, or so I am hoping. At least I can say that TLK will be the first, and probably the only 3D movie I ever watch. Just gotta go out and get a 3D HDTV now, and finally the PS3 will get some Blu-Ray action.

Yeah I forgot to mention that in the OP, but you are absolutely right. In fact I would even say that it would be worth booking in advance if one is dead cert on seeing it in cinemas anyway.
And since you mentioned PS3, at E3 Sony announced this -

A new 24" 3DTV, runs full HD as well, comes with a pair of 3D goggles and a copy of Resistance 3 game all for $499, its priced competitively which is great for us. So if you are only really interested in it for the sake of TLK 3D that might be worth getting...

This may sound stupid, but here it is:

If you want to check what a perfect 3D TV will look like, and you don't want to go to the store (where 3D tvs are not yet perfect), just look in a mirror. Because mirrors simply reflect light, what you see is, in fact, 3D. SO you can use that to judge on how much you want to spend on a 3D tv.

I really hope it'll be released to a theatre near me! If not, I'm getting on a train, bus or even a plane. I have to see this somehow. HAVE TO.
And that TV looks really neat! I have to admit that I am tempted to get one xD

That is a good alternative for those who just plan on using their 3D TV for gaming and personal use. I can't picture a family gathering around a 24inch 3D TV though to watch a movie together. lol. I have my eyes set on this here.

I figure, if I'm going to upgrade to a 3D TV, it might as well be worth it for everyone who comes over to use it too. 24 inches of screen real-estate just doesn't seem like it would do TLK in 3D justice. Or maybe I just like my TVs ginormously huge. Either way though, I'm glad the PS3 is already set to play 3D content, so at least I save a little money from not having to go out and buy a 3D ready Blu-Ray player on top of that bankrupting 3D TV.
