here's an Idea, insted of turning Scar into a genie, maybe we could have him striped of his powers and maybe locked in a dungeon, with say a matching scar on his other eye.

Just realized something. Scar's going to be the genie right. Well would he, Zira, or both turn into snakes right before that?

Also the gift for Nala. The ring. Is it a normal ring or enchanted somehow that Genie neglected/forgot to mention and affect Nala somehow?

Only Scar becomes a snake. As for the ring, it's just a normal ring.

So who steals the lamp? Scar, Zira, or Vitani? Or do they all try to steal it multiple attempts and fail until the last try?

So I was wondering after Scar turned into a genie and is trapped into his lamp then what happens to Zira? Will she get thrown in jail or does she fall off the roof or something similar to her death in The Lion King 2?

It's Vitani that steals it (Scar forces her to do while Zira distracts Simba).

I think Zira should get thrown into the Fayiz dungeon and Vitani is redeemed and rejoins the sultan's family.
