Part 1: My Circle Of Life Begins
I was born in New York (New York City to be specific); February 10th, 1996. I was given birth at 3:53 pm and I weighed 8 pounds. Originally, my parents were going to name me Vivian, but they thought that the name would sound way too old for me. So, they decided to name me Lauren instead, but I love my name. I came out to be very cute as an newborn cubby.
Part 2: My Parents' World Turned Upside Down
On December 6th, 1997, my mother was starting to realize that I did things that I wasn't supposed to be doing. From her perspective, my behaviors were very strange because I was not behaving like a normal child would. She decided to go to the doctor with me in order figure out what was wrong. The doctors did several tests with me. When 10:30AM came on that tragic day, she discovered.....
I was diagnosed with Autism at 18 months old. She was very sad about this discovery. She called my father about my diagnosis and also got very sad. He came home from work right away. They told all of their close friends and family about me. My mom and dad were very depressed for 6 months.

Part 3: What Did I Do During Autism?
I had many kinds of very unusual behavior acts (although it started when I was 2 years old). Here were my acts: I used to grind my teeth, climb on the dresser by pulling out the drawers, like cars but not pretend, had a big attention span for cartoons, didn't point to what I wanted and I just pushed something away when I didn't want it, carry little things around as a prop, play with my spit, wander off, flapped my hands, and jumped up and down or tense body when excited. I was a very picky eater. I had a lack of intereaction with other children, had trouble going to new places, used to smell objects a lot, and replayed segments of a videotape (I remembered doing this a lot with A Bug's Life ^^). I was very fearful of the flash on cameras because I used to think that the flash would "eat me". I decreased eye contact with other people when talking to them, cried when frustrated, and covered ears when loud noises were heard. I had a big fear of doctors and car washes. My doctors described me as a cuddly, undemanding infant. They also said that I was stubborn back then and I was unexamable because I was always crying so much while at the doctors. I used to place objects in a line. I also contained a history of motor tics. Some of my tics were moving my nose, grinding my teeth, sucking in my stomach, turning to the left, and opening my eyes wide.
Part 4: A New Change Arises
As I started to grow up from an infant to a child, I needed some time. I was enrolled into a special preschool to start helping me overcome my Autism. This preschool was special because this was where many kids with special needs started school for the first time, and I became one of them. I kept working my way out of my disability with the help of my parents too. I did many activities over at my preschool, and I had a lot of fun at the same time, although this was serious business for my Autism. Throughout some time, my social skills got better and better, started making better eye contact, and being less afraid of the flash on a camera. It took me about 8-9 years to overcome my Autism.
As of today in the present, I am now living my life as a young girl who is a Autistic child but doing much better than for when she was a little cubby. Although I was different from everybody else, I am proud of myself for changing over the years. Autism has changed me a lot. I am a high functioning Autistic girl. That means that I've improved and seem more like an average person. When my brother was about 13-14 years old, my mother finally began to tell him what happened to me years ago. He asked a lot of questions about my behavior and she was able to explain as much as she can. Since they payed more attention to me about my autism, my brother was often isolated and jealous of me. Also, his jealousy of me was what caused him to be mean to me sometimes. Since he's older, he understands now than before.
I have my stands and reasons for why Simba is my absolute favorite character. For what I am going to say is mostly about Adult Simba in my perspective of him. He stands in the life he lives in and resembles who he really is. Of all the actions that occurs to him from the climax in his cubhood to his stage in adulthood, he contains more than one place in his life. He is more than just being king and Mufasa's son. He is the one lion who faces so much danger from his past brought up to his future and fights it with strength. To fight your uncle and intentionally "killing" him, that's really massive, but Simba faced all that with Scar. I relate to Simba the most because I am learning to become a great social thinker and I often think about how I stand in my life than just a regular person. From my past with my Autism, I grew out of it and faced it over the years. I had to overcome it by "fighting" it (delete these unusual behaviors I contained from the start). I grew up to this point where I'm not "abnormal" anymore. I stand in my life as a former Autistic child who is just the best girl she can be. Simba stands in his life as the best lion he can be. We both stand as being proud of ourselves for the future life coming to us. That is why I best relate to Simba so much.
Now you understand why I love Simba so much! If people out there find it weird that I have a crush on Adult Simba, then that's their loss! He's so cute as a cub and so sexy & hot as an adult! I really love Cub Simba and Adult Simba equally but if you ask me which one is my favorite, my answer is Adult Simba. My obsession for Simba comes mostly from how very important he is in TLK. I relate to Simba the most and he's very important to me as well.
