"That's so nice. Child hood sweet hearts." Ash said looking over at the sleeping deer.

Cheng chuckled. "Yes, even though she had a tendency to pounce on me and pin me down when we played. It was kind of irritating then," he said. He then changed the subject to Ash herself. "So do you have any family and friends around here?" he asked.

"No not really, my pack separated when I was a pup. My uncle took down my father and took his spot as alpha my mother stayed in the pack to take care of my siblings and my father and I left after being exhiled. So when I was old enough I just became a loner. I wish my life had a family in it, but my family exhiled me and my father died before we could go back to take our rightful places." Ash said venting to the snow leopard that she only recently had met.

Cheng nodded. "Why were you exiled?" he asked, waiting for the others to wake up as well.

"I was too close to my father and my uncle just felt I would conspire against him." Ash replied.

Cheng felt a pang of sadness. "That's terrible. Well, in my case, my birth father was an evil warrior named Tai Lung and my birth mother was a vicious assassin named Bai Jiang. When I was a cub, they decided to kidnap Mei and her sister to lure their parents out so they could be killed. Tai Lung and Bai Jiang were slain in the ensuing fight and Crane and Mei Ling adopted me," he said.

"That sucks. But atleast you found true love." Ash said putting a smile on her face.

Cheng nodded. "The others should be getting up by now," he said. He looked around. "Hopefully, if we don't have too many delays, we'll reach the fishing village soon," he said.

Mhuni's ears perked up at the sound of 'fishing village.' she supposed she should let it out. "Can... can I skip... the water part?" She asked nervously. She hoped they wouldn't think she was stupid. After all, it was just water. Right?

"What are you scared!?" Ash said playfully before chuckling. Ash walked towards Mhuni, "Are ya?" Ash said before sitting.
