The buck's son sometimes listened to his cousin unless he thought of a way he found better. Nello smiled and the hours went by rather quickly.

His cousin then said, "Say these words. Do not doubt Great Prince that I will be wiser and take more prudence than my cousin, your son."

The buck's son sighed, "Why do you want me to say that?" was he liked insisiting that everybody hated him or something?

His cousin said, "Trust me. Do what I say."

The buck's son went ahead and repeated his cousin's words to his uncle.

"Tell him though that you know that even though your cousin was unwise and pretty dumb he cared about others. Then tell him that is what you want to accomplish by being the Great Prince."

The buck's son said, "I'm not calling you dumb. What if he gets upset?"

His cousin said, "Do as I say. The truth is just and will hurt a few feelings. After you do that tell him however what you truly think of me."
