Aww I just finished it. It's such a good movie. Thank you for recommending it... I'm not sure I would have ever see n it otherwise. The characters were wonderful and believable. It was funny and charming and I'm sure I'll be watching it again!

Now I'm off to recommend it to everyone I know!

I think this was a movie my friend was telling me about. there were a few things she mentioned in there that were funny, so I'm going to check out this vids.

I do the same thing by telling all my friends about this movie, since I know there are a lot of people who have never even heard of this movie. ^^ It only takes one viewing though to get them hooked.

ZOMG PRIDE Best BBC movie eva!! I have the DVD version. Some parts look like The Lion King, but the storyline is pretty much original. Like the part where Linus was going to get eaten by crocodiles, it looked like Simba in the stampede. And I LOVE the music at the very beginning of the movie. Gives an African feel.

I agree. ^^ Pride did have a lot of things in common with both TLK 1 and 2's storyline, but it also had a lot of original plots as well. ^^ The music was amazing and really brought out the feel of the film. ^^ The characters were so loveable, even the minor characters. I own the DVD too and loved the Making Of featurette they had on it. Was very interesting to watch how they made the movie. ^^

Look at this! I found it at the BBC site! They mention TLK in the end of the review, so I guess they tried to make it like TLK but more realistic!

Pride's beginning to grow on me lol =) It's funny how some movies will do that =) But I'm really appreciating more how it's such a simple, yet deep story with great humor thrown in.
