Kiara was put to the ground and Chakavu almost squished. Willow grabbed Chakavu and took him to safety. Buffy put her claws out and scratched Kiara's side. She was bleeding heavily and after Buffy bit a part of her ear off, she was bleeding through her mouth too. Buffy had been scratched too, and she was tired and exhausted. "Start acting like a mother Kiara. If not, I won't allow you to be a mother. Buffy's threat was final, and she and Kiara never fought anymore. Unfortunatly, Chakavu had died, but as Tero said, he returned in a week. Kiara was happy to see him and she had decided to have no more cubs. Kovu was still hurting from what had happened, but he managed. Everything was almost back to normal, except one thing, Zeta never returned. Buffy's heart hurt deeply, but she knew she'd have to let her cub grow up, even if it meant her death.
A year passed quickly, and many things changed. Buffy had given birth to her cubs, who were both unfortunatly stillborn. That caused hatred between Buffy and Willow, and their relationship ended quickly. Not long after her split up with Willow, Buffy left the pride to do things her own way. She was strong enough on her own and maybe she would find someone out there, who needed someone to be friends with. She was missed by several pride members, but she had to be on her own now. Zeta lived happily with the Pride and intended to stay there for all time. Her mate had become her mother's ex, even though her cubhood crush was Tero. She had gotten over him when he wanted his brother dead. Now, Willow and Zeta were expecting a little cub, their firstborn. And there was no doubt, these two had true love.
One day, Zeta was laying in the sun near the waterhole. The gentle breeze found it's way through her fur very easily and gave her some small shivers, but she thought it felt delightful. Her brown eyes opened for a while to see the sparkly water, they took a look around and found her beautiful mate, Willow. She smiled when she saw how sweetly he slept. She truly loved him with all his heart, even if he had been her mother's mate at one time. But that time was over, now it was their time. Zeta gave a small and silent yawn, and took a look at her tiny belly. There were still months till she was due, but she loved the look of her belly bump. It was so tiny that only someone who knew her really well could notice. She got up from where she had been laying and put one paw in front of the other as she walked to the waterhole. She bendt down and started licking up the water. The feeling of it going down her hot throat was pure heaven and gave her a little tingle. When she was done drinking she looked up at the sky. The sun was at it's sharpest point and at it's warmest too, so it was a good idea to stay near the waterhole. Zeta sighed and thought to herself, what a wonderful world...
