[First RP post. Sorry it sucks D: ] :
The morning sun rose above the horizon, coating the barren land in a beautiful golden glow. A small prise of few members slowly began to stir as their night faded away. A dark pelted lionesses emerald optics flickered open, and the female slowly lifted her head, her two cubs still asleep in her paws. She contemplated waking them, but peaceful sleep was a blessing. There was little food left for any members of the Pride, and almost everyone was starving. Jiirani was weak, most - if not all - of her food had been given to the cubs. They were her everything, and deserved to live out the life they had, even if she wasn't in it at the end of the day.
"We need a miricle..."
She sighed, wearily gazing at the small Pride, silently wishing that everything could return to what it once was. Images of the rest of the Pride - Those who had either died or fled, but she didn't know which - flashed through her tired mind.
Little did she know, help was on it's way, in a very unexpected body. The small figure of a young cubs travelled in the direction of the remaining members of the Anzu Pride, walking as if he was in a daze. He couldn't recall anything about where he was going, or why he had set out on this journey. It was as if his mind had shut him out as it went about it's buisness, walking in a mechanical manner. A small tuft of brown fur showed his mane was coming in, but it was obvious that he was still very young, and shouldn't have even left home. There were dangerous beings in the wild, some he had never even heard of, and the longer he walked, the more tired he became.
