E3 2011

Any real gamer knows that E3 has been coming this month every year since 1995 bringing new game announcements and reveals. And soon coming is E3 2011 happening on June 7-9!

You do not know how excited I am. I watch the full Nintendo press conference every year, and jump around the other company's to parts I personally care about. E3 is one of my favorite times of the year! I'm gonna watch the live Nintendo stream after it's over after school, and parts of the other ones.

Are any of you excited for E3? I personally want to hear more about Nintendo's next console codenamed "Project Cafe" and see more cool announced games on all the other platforms (like 3DS, Wii, and PS3). I also can't wait to see what Nintendo does for Zelda's 25th b-day.

I hope I'm not the only person on MLK excited to see what's announced.

Hellll yeah. Sony conference is later today, not sure I can see it all though, starts at 11PM(ish) here lol >.> might have to just check N4G the following morning or watch it on PlayStation Home. (PlayStation gamer)

E3 is what I've been waiting for since, well, since the last one ended! This year, though, there are so many games I'm looking forward to. Mass Effect 3, battlefield 3, gears of war 3, skyrim....oh yeah, and I'm still waiting for news on Half-Life Ep. 3

Lol, the one game I am really looking forwards to will not be at E3. Not to mention, while I may be totally wrong, I think that this year's E3 will be mostly gimmick and less actual content (3D, motion games, etc...). I may sound pessimistic, but I lost faith in big-names long ago.

UPDATE: The XBOX site updated their site wrongly for a few seconds.

Halo 4 and Halo: combat evolved anniversary were seen at the site for a few seconds.
I guess E3 will be awesome. Can't wait to see Halo 4!

^ They prolly did it on purpose to drum up some hype, but remember the next Halo is not going to be made by Bungie any more...

Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3
Oh oh and I almost forgot Kingdom Hearts 3DS, I am looking forward to finally hear more of that, just a short teaser trailer is all that has really been shown of it so far so that will be nice. Hopefully the Pride Lands return for a TLK 2 world but meh we will see ^^

You're right there but 343 industries (the ones who are making the Combat Evolved remake) have got some Bungie staff with them. I'm sure Bungie wouldn't want 343 to ruin the Halo franchise, so they're probably just making sure that the core gameplay parts that made Halo what is now are still there.

Personally, I lost faith in Activision and the COD franchise in general after COD 5. Modern Warfare was by far their best game, in my opinion. After I knew that they were just copy & pasting textures, graphics and the game engine in general from game to game, I didn't want anything else to do with COD.

Battlefield will be an absolute masterpiece and I really hope Battlefield 3 beats MW3 in sales (which it won't, unfortunately) because then Activision will need to get up and actually create something new for once. It's better for gamers if Battlefield 3 does better in sales than MW3 as it means better games for us Battlefield 3 looks absolutely beautiful...go Frostbite 2.0!

Acctually, there is a pretty big chance that BF3 will beaet MW3 in sales. Lots of ppl got fed up about Activision not 'creating' something new after MW1.
And BF3 just looks superawesome.
