"I'll teach myself how to hunt as long as your way involves hurting others for no reason!" Kopa retorted, angry at how Simba had told them all not to kill needlessly or inflict pain without cause but here he was, telling his own son to murder.

Simba sighed. "I'm not telling you to murder. I need you to figure out how to properly dispatch prey. The lionesses won't always be there to do it for you. Plus, you are to eat the mouse afterward," he said.

Kopa sat down, glaring at his father without a word. He made no move to hunt.

"Kopa, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to sound like that. I'm only trying to help you," Simba said. He sighed. "I just don't want you relying on the lionesses all the time," he added.

[Nitro]

"I don't want to rely on the lionesses all the time," Kopa explained. "I asked you to teach me how to hunt, remember? But I don't want to rely on you all the time either to make my decisions between right and wrong."

"Very well, Kopa. Continue with your pouncing. I will explain dispatching prey later on," Simba said. He then turned to check on Kiara.

Kopa smiled and crouched down, slinking across the ground stealthily.

Simba smiled, knowing that his son would be a great hunter and a mighty king.

Kiara saw an old field mouse, laying in the shade. She brought her backside and tail close to the dirt. Her eyes locked onto the creature. Using her back legs as a spring, she shot up and forced her paws onto the mouse and she locked it close into her paws. "Sorry little mouse." She whispered, holding the mouse by the tail over her open mouth. Dropping him in the swallowed him into her empty stomach.

Tears started forming in her eyes, she ran to her father and hugged his leg. "Daddy, I feel so bad!" She cried, wiping her tears on his golden pelt. Nuzzling her face closer into his leg, she brought herself closer to him.

Folle smiled, "I will do as I am told!" She said, running to the kingfisher quietly. Bringing herself to a quiet stop, she hid behind a rock. Staring at the blue-long-nosed bird, she put herself in the position for attack. The bird was attempting to catch a fish, she smirked then launched herself at the bird. Before she landed, the bird started flying away. She swatted at the bird, her claw catching it's wing as she brought the to the ground. A smile formed on her face as she bit the birds neck. Killing it quickly.

Bringing her mouth close to the kill, she pick it up and ran over to her master. "Queen Zira, I brought you my kill." Folle stated the obvious, looking at her Queen with potential.

Simba held his daughter close. "You have done nothing wrong, Kiara. You ate it, so you have not broken any law," he stated.
