"Ah, I see," said Zira, referring to the cub's enthusiasm, "Well, I'd like you to catch that kingfisher. Do so, and it's yours to eat." Zira waited for the cub to begin.
"And me, too?" asked Kovu. He saw another kingfisher, next to the one Folle was supposed to catch.
"Sure."

For the longest moment, Simba watched how the sunlight made Nala's eyes sparkle even more. "Wow..." he said to himself. Every day that went by, he fell even more in love with the beautiful lioness. It didn't matter in the least that they had been mates for a long time, or that she had born a litter of cubs.

Nala smiled at Simba and then turned to watch the cubs make a rucus, "Well mom, whats for breakfast? Gazelle?" she asked curiously. A flicker of excitement passed through her eyes as she got excited for the hunt. Nala looked to Simba, "Stay with the cubs while we go pick off one of these gazelle?" she asked him.

Sarafina looked at Kiara and nuzzled her cheek, "My little Princess." she cooed with a grin. Hearing the cubs complain their hungry she then heard Nala ask about gazelle. "Gazelle it is. Now kids stay with your father, you too Dyanna stay with Simba. You can watch me and your mom get us some breakfast." she said nudging Dyanna closer to the cubs. She stood to her paws beside Nala and nodded to her, when she was ready they could go.

Dyanna smiled, "I love gazelle.." she whispered. Her bright blue eyes watched them get ready for the hunt and Dyanna padded beside Kopa and Kiara. "So we get to watch?" she asked curiously.

Simba laughed. "Yes, it means you get to watch. It also means you get to enjoy our prey when it's brought back," he said.

"When will we be old enough to start learning how to hunt and fight?" Kopa complained. "It's way too boring having everyone else do it for us!"

Simba looked down at Kopa. "When you get a little bit bigger. You're still too small," he said.

Kiara sighed, "Are we to small for EVERYTHING?" She whined, looking up at her father then to her siblings and Dyanna.

"We're big enough to at least start lessons!" Kopa said, trying to persuade his father.

Simba smiled. "Very well. I will start you three off by hunting mice. That's how Mom, Aunt Vitani and I learned," he said.

The young prince grinned and crouched down, his rump sticking up in the air and making loud scuffling noises.
