The subplot was this: Sarabi and Zira both had their cubs at the same time. Zira's was stillborn (I think) and so she stole Vitani or something like that.

Nah, it's OK. Once the next post is made, I will do the scene where Simba accidentally makes his second wish and Genie conjures the elephant out of nowhere and gives Simba all the royal treasures.

After the next post. After that, I will be doing the scene of Genie conjuring the elephant and granting Simba all the other stuff. After that, we'll go to the royal entry parade.

Ok, now that we've got this underway, here's how the parade scene will go:

We cut to Sarafina, Nala, Selim and Kas'im holding a meeting in the throne room. They are talking when the trumpet fanfare of Simba's parade sounds. Kas'im runs to the balcony and shouts that they need to see this. They do, and get their first glimpse of Simba. Nala thinks he's just another stuck-up prince until she sees him throwing gold coins to the citizens.
