Scar smiled again. "Don't worry. I have it taken care of. Now, let us rest," he said.

She climbed into bed, as she soon drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile in Vitani's room, she arrived sulking. It was a very elegant room fit for a princess. She sometimes wished she was. Then she wouldn't have to put up with her parents. If she had only gotten that lamp, things would be different. Insteaad she got another lecture. She just had to get that lamp and make them happy. She drifted off to sleep.

Back in the hallway, Eden excused herself from Mufasa and Sarabi, knowing they'd send soem guards to take care of Imon. She headed off to her room. She got into bed, kickign off her shoes, and soon was asleep.

Meanwhile in the Kingdom of Faiyz, the banquet was long over. Queen Sarafina and Nala were now walking to their chambers down the hall.

"I'm glad you're considering this." said Queen Sarafina.

"I couldn't say no to you mother. But I want this to be the last prince. I can't handle any more of these self centered jerks. You've ruled on your own for a few years. I know I could rule Faiyz on my own." said Nala.

"You know the law Nala. You must be....

"Married to a Prince....." Nala & Sarafina stated at the exact same time.

"I know. But there wasn't even a nice one in the bunch. You were lucky when you found Father." saiid Nala.

"I was. And I know you will too. Maybe Simba is the right one for you." said Queen Sarafina.

"I doubt it but I will give him a chance." said Nala.

"That is all I ask." said Queen Sarafina.

The two headed off to their rooms for the night, as Sarafina sillently wished all would go well with Simba and Nala.

Kovu yawned as Sarabi smiled. "Alright, you've had a busy day today, andyou need your rest." She said, handing Kovu to Simba. " Good night boys." She said with a proud smile.

Simba nudged Kovu. "Come on, Kovu. I think you'll enjoy sleeping in my chambers," he said.

Kovu yawned again as he followed Simba. "Hey Simba, I'm sorry I lied to you." Kovu said as he followed his "Brother" To his chambers. Upon entering, Kovu saw another bed had been placed there. "I never thought I'd be so happy to see a bed in my life." He said as he removed the Items and put them in the pouch he had got from Imon. Kovu put tht pouch under a pillow as he changed into a set of sleeping clothes that were set out. " Night simba." He said, Hugging his "Brother" good night as he laid down on his bed and drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile Sarabi had finiished talking with the guards. She decided to feed Imon's body and head to the crocodiles in dungeon number nine. The bodies of Kovu's "Parents" would be kept til Kov could decide their fate. Sarabi had a feeling they might not be having a funeral after all. Turning towards Mufasa, she smiled. "You know I think after eveything Kovu's been though, we should adopt him." She said to her husband.

Mufasa shook his head. "No matter how much you may pity him, he is still a threat. For all we know, he could be lying to the entire kingdom."

As he fell asleep, Simba watched Kovu. Oh how he wished his father would just adopt the cub, and also that Kovu would behave on the trip to Fayiz so that his father would be convinced. When he actually fell asleep, his thoughts became ones of Princess Nala. He hoped that she was as beautiful as Sarafina's letters said.

Sarabi scowled as she slapped Mufasa across the face. "I can't belive you would say that. Sure Kovu has a bad habbit with stealing, and yes he lied, but he was forced to do all that!" She said. Even though Kovu wasn't her child, Sarabi always thought of him as a second son. " Kovu said Imon almost killed Simba in the Treasure room, but Kovu saved his life. We owe that cub simba's life!" She said to her husband. "Until you realize that Kovu is not a threat you can sleep in the throne room for all I care!" Sarabi shouted as she stormed off to their chambers. Sarabi then turned to guards. "If Sultan Mufasa wants in, tell him he can come in as soon as he agree's to adopt Kovu!" She shouted to the guards who hastenly agreed as she locked the door behind her and went to bed.

Simba slept peacefully that night, not knowing what was happening with his parents. His only thought was of Nala.
