The buck nodded, "I hope you sleep well."

Gurri smiled as the two headed back towards their new den. Gurri laid down by her mate's side and put her head down, "Good night."

The next morning the buck woke up with a yawn and smiled at Gurri as it seemed like she was still asleep.

Gurri woke up after a while. She saw her mate was already awake and smiled at him.

The buck looked at her and said, "Did you have a good sleep?"

Gurri nodded, "Yeah." she stretched.

The buck said, "I've been thinking and I'm gonna do it Gurri. I shall be a part of your family and on good terms with your father no matter what my mother says."

Gurri smiled but then let out a sigh, "Look, I'm not gonna make any comments about that or try to figure out whether he really could do nothing to help your father or not... It really doesn't matter." she hoped he understood.

The buck only nodded. He looked at Gurri's figure but then looked away. "There is another thing to discuss."
