"Well good night boys. See you later." said Eden.

She turned to Mufasa and Sarabi.

"Is someone going to remove his body from the treasury? I know the room is barely used but just thinking of him being in there gives me the creeps." said Eden.

She shuddered.

Sarabi embraced Kovu in a loving hug. "Of Course you deserve a family Dear, and we want you to be part of ours." She said as she started to stroke Kovu's trufet of hair. " Really?" Kovu asked as he looked into the Sultana's eyes. "Yes, Mufasa and I already think of you as our own, that is if you want to be our son?" She asked with the loving smile only a mother could have. "I'd love that..Mom." Kovu said as he rested his head up againist Sarabi, who gave Kovu a kiss on his forehead. "Well Mufasa, are you going to make your wife and Queen a liar, or are we going to adopt Kovu now?" She asked, half serious, half teasingly.

Back in Zira & Scar's room, Zira turned to Vitani when there's a knock at the door. She goes to address it as a guard greets her.

"The trip has been postponed for 3 days." said the guard.

"Postponed? Well thank you for letting us know." said Zira.

The guard left, heading back to his rounds. Zira closed the door, turning back to Scar and Vitani.

"This gives us more time to prepare for the trip. Vitani, as we discussed earlier. We must make Simba so focussed on impressing Nala he'll forget his wishes long enough for us to swipe the lamp." said Zira.

"But what about Kovu?" asked Vitani.

"Kovu?" asked Zira.

"Those items he got from Imon." said Vitani.

"Yes. Once we have the lamp, we could wish for him to not have them. Or wish for ourselves to be more powerful. The possibilites are endless. But we must not arouse suspicion. For now you play the part of the devoted cousin." said Zira, smiling.

"Yes mother. Good night." said Vitani.

She slipped out of the room as Zira's smile faded.

"We were so close to that lamp. That fool Imon. I knew we shouldn't have trusted him."

Scar smiled wickedly as he set his snake staff down. "Dear Zira, I have a plan. What if we not only rule Agrabah, but Fayiz as well?" he said.

"I like it. But even with the lamp, how would we do that? The cities are so far apart." said Zira.

Scar grinned. "While we come back to rule Agrabah, I will install Vitani as sultana in Fayiz," he stated.

"Perfect. That also means we'll have to get rid of Sarafina, Nala, and any of their staff loyal to them. But with the lamp, both kingdoms will soon be ours." said Zira.

Scar retained his smile. "Not to worry, dear. I will destroy them as soon as I get the chance," he said. He then looked over at his snake staff. "I will use my staff to control their minds if need be," he said.

"Then the kingdoms are good as ours. If only those fools out there could be hypnotized so easily. We could just order them to jump off a cliff." said Zira.

Scar laughed. "Or wander aimlessly in the desert until they drop dead from thirst," he said. Both options appealed to him greatly. "But we're getting ahead of ourselves here. Let us get ready for the trip and Simba's royal entry parade," he said.
