Every time I see that scene I can't help but feel a little jealous of Simba. Those things are just so colorful and tasty looking, especially the "green-filled kind" Timon pulls out of the log. And I am not alone in this! Last week I was watching that scene at a friend's house at a sleepover and my other friend said that she thought the grub Simba eats looks like it would taste good. And I agreed.
Why can't real bugs look that good to me?? Then again, I guess if the creators made the bugs look all gross and slimy, the more squeamish kids wouldn't want to watch it. Let's not scar them.
Yeah...I guess I'm pretty weird.
