As Ahadi escorted Mya and Sarafina to Priderock, he told them everything to know. "I can't guarantee that you will be allowed to stay for any lengthy period of time, but I'm sure that you will be allowed to rest and leave when you will be ready." He told them. "There is a separate den for you that is usually reserved for guests, but I am sure that you will be allowed to use it."

By now, they reached the base of Priderock, and began to climb. "I hope it won't be too severe, but there might be some resistance from my wife. We got our own cubs, you see..." Mya nodded, signifying that he didn't need to explain it to her.

They reached the den area, and as soon as Ahadi was in sight, both Taka and Mufasa charged at him. "Dad!" Taka shouted with joy. Both Taka and Mufasa jumped on their dad, nearly toppling him over. He then spotted the newcomers. "Who are they?" he asked.

Ahadi laughed as his sons ran over. "Taka! Mufasa!" He nudged them back to the ground. "This is Mya and Sarafina." He explained. "They need our help, and so will be staying with us for a while." He walked over to Uru and nuzzled her. "And don't think that I forgot about my beautiful wife," he whispered in her ear. "I'll just show them where they can stay, and then I'll be back with you."

He left Uru and motioned for Mya to follow him. "Let me show you where you can stay." he told her.

Mufasa stopped right in front of Mya and Sarafina and he stared at them, "I'm Mufasa! " he said with a big grin. He watched his father lead the newcomers to the guest dens and he ran back over to Taka. "Did you see the new cub Taka?" he asked curiously to his little brother.

Mya nudged Sarafina forward with her muzzle as they followed Ahadi, "Thank you Ahadi for your generosity." she said laying outside of the den. She felt the warmth of the sun graze her pelt and her green eyes watched Sarafina run around her. "Stay close Fina, don't go far." she instructed to her cub with a loving smile.

Uru nodded as Ahadi walked them by and she stood tall as Mya passed her and her honey colored eyes watched the new lioness. Reclining back to her hinds she looked to her cubs, "Play nice..." she said softly. She stared out onto the Pride lands her mind in a different place, she watched the herds move.

Kamaria nuzzled Mohatu's mane, "She'll be okay, its a normal thing. Don't worry dear.." she spoke calmly watched the cubs wrestle around.

Ahadi returned to the others after leading Mya and Sarafina to the den. He walked over to Uru and nuzzled her. "Mya and Sarafina are resting. They might come out of the den later today," he said. He then went over to Mohatu. "Do you know of any peaceful place outside of the Pridelands?" he asked. "Mya said that she needs a new home, and she really looks thin. If they don't find a new place soon..."

Mohatu thought about it. "There isn't any place that I am aware of." he replied. "But then our pride isn't exactly the largest. See if you can talk with Uru and then Mya about letting them join our pride. These Pridelands are the best place for them as any that I know of."

Ahadi nodded and went back to discuss it with Uru. Hopefully, she would understand, because Ahadi didn't want to figure out how to send Mya to, effectively, her and Sarafina's death.


Taka nodded. "Of course I saw her, Mufasa. Did you even see that it was a girl?" Next to them, Kamaria giggled. Somehow, their bickering was amusing their grandparents.

Kamaria giggled softly and looked to Taka and Mufasa, "Come on cubs, lets go welcome our new Pride members." she said softly. She nudged them with her muzzle in the direction of Mya and Sarafina.

Mufasa ran down the rocky path and skidded to a stop infront of Sarafina, "H-Hello. I'm Mufasa and this is my little brother Taka." he said with a smile. He had never seen a girl so close besides his mother and grandmother and well they didn't really count.

Mya smiled at Mufasa's politeness, "Hello young Prince, thats my daugther Sarafina. Shes your age." she said softly. "Go ahead Fina, go play with the other cubs." she said pushing Sarafina with her paw towards Taka and Mufasa.

Sarafina stepped up to the two boys and her green eyes lit up as she looked at them, "Your brothers?" she asked curiously. "What do you two play around here?"

Kamaria sat beside Mya, "Shes beautiful. I'd thought I'd let you know your both welcome to stay at the Pride lands. We could always use extra help." she offered with a smile.

Mya nodded her head and watched the cubs chatter, "Thank you, thats very kind of all of you. We just might make this beautiful place our new home." she said softly gazing out onto the lands.

Uru rolled her eyes and huffed, she knew her mother and father had already accepted the idea of welcoming Mya and Sarafina into the Pride. She looked to Ahadi, "Fine, they can stay." she muttered. Her honey colored eyes looked up at Ahadi and then away back to the Pridelands, she sighed.

Taka smiled nervously. Like Mufasa, he was no comfortable around girls. The last time he stumbled across one, Sarabi, he fled as fast as he could after giving a barely audible hello. Now here he was with Mufasa and Sarafina. At least he wasn't the only one nervous around here: All three of them were. Taka coughed to clear his throat. "Well, we, err... we usually play things like tag or pounce..." he muttered. He looked over to Mufasa, and send him a look that clearly said Help me out over here!

Ahadi felt relieved when Uru accepted to let Mya and Sarafina stay. "Uru, I love you, and always will. Mya will not steal me from you, I can assure you that." he told her. "We have our cubs, a great family, and if nothing else, I doubt I will live long enough to regret leaving you if I would." He laughed at that. "Besides, Uru, you are much prettier than Mya. You are my beautiful wife, and nothing will change it."

Mufasa smiled, "Well because your a girl, we could play tag? Pounce is for boys." he said softly. He sat beside his brother and jabbed his shoulder with his paw, "Tag your it." he said smoothly with a grin.

Sarafina rolled her eyes, "Your assuming I can't play pounce because I'm a girl?" she snapped at the two Princes. "I can do ANYTHING, you two can do. Maybe even better." she added with a huff.

"Fina.." Mya said taken aback by her daughter's outburst. She relaxed a bit and let the cubs play their game.

"If you ever left me for some rogue lioness, you wouldn't make it out of the pride lands." she snapped with her ears flattened back to her cranium tightly. Even though Ahadi was only playing, it still hurt her feelings. She nuzzled his mane and rested her head on his shoulder, "Now our Pride has more mouths to feed." she spoke, "But did you see the way the boys oogled the girl cub. Its cute." she whispered to Ahadi.

Even though Ahadi was only teasing Uru, he knew that he hat hurt her. "I don't want to hurt you. Everything will be fine," he whispered to her. He looked at the cubs after Uru noticed how they were acting. "They are certainly acting... different." he said. Taka and Mufasa were much... tamer next to Sarafina. They were playing tag, but it lacked their usual roughness. "Amazing..." he whispered. "Now if we could only get Sarabi to join them," he suggested. Sarabi was also a cub, must mostly spent time by herself. As far as Ahadi was aware, neither of his cubs had met her either. And they were in the same pride...


Taka grinned when he was it. Mufasa was such a fool sometimes. "I'll get you!" he shouted. "I'll get both of you!" Mufasa knew well enough to run away as soon as Taka grinned. Sarafina didn't know to do that, but got the clue as soon as she noticed that Mufasa bailed.

As Taka chased them, he realized that Sarafina was not bluffing. She is fast. he thought. Lowering his head against the air, he charged even faster.

Uru thought for a moment and her honey colored eyes looked to Ahadi, "We should arrange a play date for the cubs. They would like that, take them into the Pride lands and let them run around." she suggested softly. Uru licked Ahadi's cheek and she gazed at him a moment, her muzzle nuzzling his neck. She snuggled close to him and let out a soft sigh.

Sarafina bolted ahead of Mufasa and she turned her head back to the boys sticking her tongue out. "Haha..cant catch me!" she yelled.

Mufasa noticed Sarafina got ahead of him and he ran faster and caught up next to her, he looked back at Taka. Taking a moment he stopped and growled as Taka approached, he looked to Sarafina. "Watch this.." he said and pounced as Taka ran towards him.

A play date... That sounded like a great idea. "Uru, you never cease to amaze me." Ahadi told her. "Us adults getting to learn about each other as the cubs play. I don't know if I would be able to attend though... You know, the lessons.." Ahadi looked down at the ground. "I will try talking to Mohatu. But I have missed enough lessons already..."


Taka saw Mufasa stop suddenly. He was going to pounce. Unable to stop or turn in time, Taka did something else: he dropped himself and rolled into Mufasa. The two of them collided, and also rolled. Now both of them were engaged in a mad rush to pin the other. Unfortunately for Taka, Mufasa used his greater strength to his advantage, and when they stopped, Mufasa was on top, pinning Taka, and grinning victoriously.

Taka frowned playfully. "You cheated!" He automatically said. Mufasa really did not, but as long as he was losing face in front of a girl, he might as well try and defend himself. He then pushed Mufasa off of him and got backup off his back.

Mufasa laughed as Taka pulled himself up and he stuck out his tongue, "I did not!" he growled. Mufasa's brown eyes narrowed at Taka and he went to pounce on him again, but Kamaria grabbed him with her muzzle. She set the angry cub infront of her and Mufasa looked up at his Grandma ear's flattened back.

"Now Mufasa, don't be so rough on Taka. We know hes smaller then you. That doesn't mean you can pick on him." she said giving her grandson a nuzzle before nudging him back to the other two to play.

Sarafina went and helped Taka up, "Are you ok?" she asked softly. Her green eyes staring at him and then she looked to Mufasa as he got introuble. She chuckled softly, "Well...what do we do now?" she asked curiously.

Kamaria looked to the cubs, "Come on Mufasa and Taka, tell Sarafina you'll see her tomorrow. We must get you back to your parents." she said outloud stepping up towards the top of Pride rock. Kamaria spoke a few words with Mya and then waited for the boys to step ahead of her, before heading back to Uru and Ahadi.

Mufasa looked to Sarafina, "Bye, see you tomorrow." he muttered before padding up towards his mother and father's den.

Uru sighed softly, "I know. Well you go finish your lessons tomorrow." she whispered nuzzling Ahadi. She licked his cheek lovingly and her honey colored eyes gazed at her mate, she smiled. Even though she was upset she felt it disappear when Ahadi spoke to her, then she noticed Mufasa and Taka make their way up. "Come here boys.." she called to them softly.
