------- Later that morning--------
The mother had given birth to 4 cubs, all male, The youngest born was quickly known as the runt being thin and less built than his brothers, they named him Chata meaning an ending. Chata had a small build as a cub but was the first of his brother's to walk. The Father Leon taught the cubs how to hunt small gain (feild mice, baby gazelle and zebra, and other small vermin) At a young age Leon taught his boys ( Chata, Charle, Zemar, Leonidas) to fight and build up some muscle so they would be strong as they grew. Chata would always lose never being able to take down his older siblings, soon Leon started to leave Chata out of training and hunting. Elsa even started to ignore him.
---------------- Three days later---------------
"Chata!" "Chata!" "Chata!" Charle Zemar and Leonidas called from out of the den, Chata quickly ran out of the den to his brothers. The cubs ran far away from the den, after they stopped far enough away so the den was no visible Charle pushed Chata to the ground and Zemar held him down Leonidas was the eldest and ordered Chata around,
"Stay Here!" Leonidas ordered before running off with his brothers excluding Chata.
Chata sat there and didn't follow his brothers because he didn't want to be pushed around any more. About five minutes later Chata ran back to the den and saw no one there, he cried and talked to himself, "They Abandoned me!" Chata ran off and stopped before he could hit the dessert,
"I can't survive in there, I'm too small if someone or something sees me I'm dead!" Chata said
to hiself before walking towards a small area where he used to hunt with his father, the area was inhabited with meerkats.
Chata soon crouched down and looked around over the meerkat holes hoping one would come up so he could get a small meal. Sure enough one came up and Chata took it down and had the meal he was hoping for. He soon found a cheetah cub about his size in the small grassy feild.
"Hi!" Chata said to the cheetah cub, "Um, hi?" The cheetah cub said back to Chata.
"I'm Chata wanna play?" Chata asked feeling lonely. "I'm Tom. And sure I'll play with you!" The cheetah replied crouching down and running back and forth ready to play. Chata soon ran up to the cheetah and pounced on him and pinned him down, he observed, "Pinned YA!" Chata said excitedly never pinning anything down besides the small gain he had caught.
The mother Cheetah never came back for the cub and Tom was abandoned. Tom cried, "Mom! Mom!" She never came so Chata comforted his new friend. Tom lived with Chata for a few days but Chata could never catch enough food for the both of them, Tom soon died and Chata was alone again
------------ A few months later-------------
Chata soon discovered how to hunt larger gain such as small warthog and baboons. His hair tuft started to grow and he grew some mane tuft on his chest and back also. He trained and trained trying to get stronger so he could hunt larger gain. Soon enough he could hunt large gain like zebra and wildebeest. Chata became a killer and wouldn't love a thing.
Chata grew in his mane that came in very dark, (his description is in OC's under the name Chata) He became lonely and made friends with a lioness named Shirika. He never grew to love her and only stayed friends with her not caring if she loved her. Chata even though he
had the ability to love others never did because he loved his family and they forgot him and
never looked for him. Chata turned out to be such a strong and powerful lion that no forced wanted to rekin with, his family created a monster.
-----------three years later----------
Chata walked over the wet Savannah ground it had been the start of the wet season. He smelled the air it was so calming. Chata traveled down into the territory of priderock. He saw a lion with a dark black mane and a chain of small gold pebbles around his neck with a feather
attached. The lion stood his ground and said in a deep strong voice, "Leave the pridelands now." The lion said. Chata stood his ground also, "Why don't you make me!"
"I said leave!" The black maned lion roared.
"Do I know you?" Chata asked looking at the lions eyes and body features. "No, why would I know you." The lion said.
"Charle, Charle is that you?" Chata said in a angry tone. "Who are you and why do you know my name?" Charle asked.
Chata tackled the lion, "You're my brother Charle, I am Chata and you Zembar and Leonidas made mother and father leave me!" Chata yelled at the lion before jumping off of him. "My brother, it's you I haven't seen you in so long. I was a foolish cub then my brother, I am have put that behind me and started a new. I live here in the pridelands, with Rafiki the shaman of these lands I'm spiritual now Chata. I'm sorry that I hurt you brother." Charle said looking his brother in the eyes.
"That..... Does not.... help!" Chata roared at Charle
"You and our brothers tried to kill me! You left me! TO DIE!" Chata roared before tackling Charle and ripping his necklace off while biting his skin. Chata ripped a chunk of skin and fur from his brother that came from his neck his mane was also missing some fur, Chata spit out
his brothers fur and necklace, "Spirit that!" Chata roared. "Good luck with your life brother." Chata said walking away looking over his shoulder. "You as well." Charle said lying on the ground bleeding. Chata walked off he said to him self, "I might hate what they did to me and
how they tried to kill me but I still love him he is my brother." Chata said these were the kindest words he had ever said since he was abandoned.
--------three weeks later------
Chata was now living on the outskirts of the pridelands he was patrolling his territory one morning when he saw a tan lioness coming into his lands. He trotted over to her, "Excuse me but you must leave these lands are mine." Chata said to the beautiful lioness standing
of him. "Well maybe you can let me by." The lioness argued. Chata nudged her with his paw,
"Leave." He said pointing the same paw north. "Maybe I don't wanna." The lioness said in a stronger tone. Chata leaped on top of the lioness and pinned her to the ground hard, "I asked you to leave. Now if you will step away from my lands no one shall get hurt." Chata said in a
polite tone he was feeling weird this lioness was very different from anyone he had known she was (his crush now) he didn't even know her name. The lioness pushed Chata off of her, "Cant you just let me go through your land?'!" the lioness demanded. "No but you could stay here." ChAta paused, "With me." Chaya said to the lioness in a strong but soothing tone. The lioness smiled slightly, "I'm Faith."
Chats smiled back at her, "What a beautiful name,Faith,, my name is Chata." Chats replied. "Yes" Faith said. "Yes To what?" Chats said confused. "I'll stay with you Chata." Faith said. "You are not gonna stay with me all the people i loved left me what makes you think that I can trust you?" Chata said. "Nevermind if your gonna be so emotional I shall leave." Faith said walking off. Chata stopped her, "I like your spunk Faith." he said in a strong and cool voice. Faith chuckled and turned around their lips touch but accident she turned to close to Chata."Sorry!" Chata shouted in a cowardly voice. "It's ok." Faith said.

Faith and Chata had started a relationship, Chata was ready to take the plunge and walked up to Faith, "Faith can I ask you something." Chata asked. "You just did." Faith replied. "Faith, um" Chata said nervous.
"Spit it out Chata." Faith ordered.
"You and me, spend the rest of our days together. How's that sound?" Chata said.
Faith was speechless and just nuzzled Chata.
"I will take that as a yes." Chata stated nuzzling Faith back.
Chata had also made up with his brother Charle who now was the shaman lion. Chata went to Rafikis tree and saw Charle lying under it. "Good morn brother!" Charle said excitedly.
"Good morn Charle." Chata replied. "I asked Faith to marry me Charle do you think you could get Rafiki to perform the ceremony?" Chats asked.
"My brother of course." Charle replied. "But why all the sudden have you asked her?"
"Faith has taught me how to love again and how to feel, before I didn't stay around anywhere for more than three days but I stayed here for a week with faith because I love her and this place, she taught me to feel by telling me stories about the great kings. She is strong and skillful she can hunt fight and pin me easy, I love her spunk." Chata replied. "My my my Chata is in love!" Rafiki said walking down the tree to his friend Charle and his new friend Chata. "Yes, Rafiki I have found the one." Chata said proudly and strong. "Well, good for you Rafiki will do the ceremony for you." Rafiki replied in a third person. "Great! I'll go get Faith so you can meet her." Chata said before turning and running to Faiths side. Faith was lying down in the den that they had took residence in when Chata ran in, "Chata. So what did Rafiki say?" Faith asked softly. "Rafiki said yes, so what are we gonna call our pride?" Chata asked jokingly. "Why need to name a pride," Faith replied, "A name is only that." Faith said nuzzling Chata.
"Why don't we take you to meet Rafiki and my brother." Chata said walking out of the den.
"Sounds good." Faith said following Chata.
They made their way to Rafiki's tree, "My brother Chata is in Upendi how great and with such a fox!" Charle said teasing his younger brother.
Faith blushed. Chata growled at Charle, "She's mine back up bro." Chata replied.
Faith laughed and so did Rafiki, "Charle has a lady back at his pride. Rafiki saw her she was angry last time." Rafiki said.
"Yeah that's why I'm here! To get away from my angry wife I can talk it out later." Charle said looking at Rafiki.
"So what's with the chain and feather?" Faith asked. "It is a symbol of wisdom and spirituality. Just like Rafiki's stick and fruit." Charle replied.
"Cool." Faith said looking at the feather. ""That reminds Rafiki, I have something for you, Chata and Faith." Rafiki said setting his stick against a branch and carried a flower so beautiful and blooming amazingly. Rafiki put the flower over Faith's ear and then walked back up the tree and brought his stick this time. He shook it and the first fruit to come down broke and he picked it up and smeared the fruit on Chata's forehead and on Faiths also. Chata and Faith nuzzled. "Congratulations guys, you are now married, have fun I'm off to my pride." Charle said walking away. "Wait! Charle what's your pride called? You know incase I need to find you." Chata said. "The Zen pride brother come by when you have your cubs they can play with my children." Charle said loudly from far away.
-----------Nine weeks later!--------
Faith just had a male cub they named Maliki, Faith licked her cub and Chata nuzzled her, "We made an adorable cub, my love." Chata said rubbing heads with Faith. "Yes, Maliki shall be king of this pride one day. Hey that gives me an idea a name for our pride, Upendi Pride." Faith said. "Creative, Love Pride sounds good we all love each other in this pride so that is a great name." Chata said before nuzzling Faith and looking out of the den seeing Rafiki. "Rafiki come in!" Chata yelled from in the den. "Rafiki is coming he is old you know." Rafiki joked walking into the den. Faith stood Maliki in her mouth by his scruff, Rafiki took the fruit Chata and Faith used at their marriage and used it to rub on Maliki's head. "It is time." Rafiki said climbing up on top of the den. Faith jumped from the ground onto the high den and gave Maliki to Rafiki, Chata followed Faith. "Herds, Lions, birds, a prince has been born!" Rafiki chanted. "Come and watch as he is held to the great kings!" Rafiki chanted again. Chata roared with Faith. Maliki was held up and the light of the kings shun down on him. Rafiki brought him back down after about 10 seconds and noogyed the little cubs head. Maliki giggled and Rafiki placed the cub on the ground. Maliki couldn't walk yet so he just lyed on the ground and relaxed. Faith nuzzled him and giggled at the little cub.
