[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Kiara didn't play the games with the three other cubs, but they soon calmed to a conversation and she quickly joined in. "That would be so cool!" Her voice cracked at the 'C' in cool. She laughed at her mistake and continued on.

Nala licked Simba's cheek back and smiled, "Your lucky, you got me. I got the greatest King of them all." she cooed softly nuzzling his mane. Her bright blue eyes flickering as they gazed at him, "You've given me 3 wonderful cubs." she added lovingly.

Dyanna smiled, "That would be fun! I could show you the waterfall and the flowers! We have colorful parrots and you'd get to see my big sister! I miss Tempy, so much." she said excitedly then her voice cracked a bit. "Tempesta said its better if I go with Sarafina, she said she wanted me to do better for myself." she added softly.

Sarafina listened to the cubs and pulled herself off the rock, she sat in the group looking down on them. "Shes right Dyanna, I noticed you potential. Thats why I brought you out here to the Pridelands." she said softly nuzzling the cub. "Come on cubs, lets go sleep. Lets leave your parents their alone time." she said smiling and nudged Chaka and Kopa forward with her muzzle.

Kiara frowned, "Oh C'mon!" She sighed, moving along with her Nana 'Rafi. Her paws started to ache and she realized she needed more sleep. A yawn escaped her small mouth, walking up to her brothers to join the family. A paw outstretched as she brought Dyanna close into her grasp. "My new best friend." She whispered, smiling at Dyanna.

Simba chuckled. "Please Nala, I'm hardly the greatest king of all. My father was far greater than me," he stated. As he spoke, his eyes took in Nala's beauty. He was glad that he had grown out of his cubhood feelings towards love.

Sarafina ushered them into the den and she laid to the cool stone floor adjusting herself a moment, "Alright you 4 bedtime." she said raising her eyebrow. "You all better sleep, no sneaking out at night." she added with a chuckle. Sarafina's tail pulled Chaka close to her warm body and she nuzzled his cheek, then did the same to the other 3. "Goodnight my loves." she whispered softly resting her head down on the floor.

Dyanna smiled wide at Kiara's words and she padded along side of her closely, she stepped into the den with them and watched Sarafina lay down. She snuggled into Sarafina's side by her front paws, "good night.." she whispered softly. Her blue eyes gazed out of the den as the new sounds of the savannah kept her awake, but after a while put her to sleep.

Nala looked down at Simba and smiled, "You are your own King Simba." she whispered softly. She slid off to Simba's side and nipped at his furry ear playfully, "Come on, I'm sure the cubs are asleep. We better go back and get to sleep to start our day tomorrow." she said with a soft smile. She reclined by her hinds as he laid then and she looked down at him.

Simba got up. "Let's go," he said and began to head in the direction of the den. As they walked together, Simba laughed. "Oh Nala, I can still remember when we were cubs and we thought marrying each other was a gross and weird idea," he said.

Nala stuck out her tongue in Simba's direction and she playfully nudged him with her head, "It was gross at the time, the fact that we were betrothed!" she said with a smile. Before they went into the den Nala reclined to her hinds outside of it, "So who are you betrothing Kopa too?" she asked curiously. "Well all of our cubs are getting bigger by the days, we need to make some decisions for Kopa. Kiara has to be betrothed to a handsome young lion, I won't take anything less." she said with a smirk. "Chaka needs a beautiful, sly female that can keep up with him."

Simba thought about Nala's words. "You know, I really haven't thought about who our cubs will be betrothed to, but you're right. The search for their future mates needs to begin. I will put out the call in the next few days. Kiara's suitor will have to be brave as well. I will not let a coward near my daughter. Regarding our sons, I hope their mates are as wonderful as you," he said with a smirk of his own.

Nala nuzzled Simba's fluffy red mane, "Come on, lets go get some sleep." she whispered. She padded softly into the den and laid to the cool stone floor, her blue eyes gazing at the cubs all cuddling around Sarafina. She watched as Simba joined her side and she rested her head on his big paws, "What about Dyanna?" she whispered softly. "She seems like a nice cub, but give it time." she added before closing her eyes to sleep.

"Dyanna..." Simba thought to himself as he fell asleep. It was a good idea, but, as Nala said, he would have to give it time. As he slept, Simba had a dream of all three of his cubs as adults. Each of them had mates. Kopa and Chaka were with beautiful lionesses, while Kiara was with a brown-furred, black-maned male. Finally, the night ended and Simba was the first to wake up as the sun rose. He laid there, waiting for his family to awaken.
