Soon, it was morning. Vitani woke up with a crying in her ear. It was Kijiti crying for milk. Are you hungry little one? Vitani knew the cubs couldn't talk back, their eyes weren't even open. But she somehow knew what they were trying to say. Vitani picked up Kijiti and put her at her stomach. Kijiti was as hugry as ever. Soon, she heard Nuka crying. You're hungry too aren't ya. Then, Vitani picked up Nuka and put him by her stomach. Kijiti wanted all the milk, but Nuka wouldn't let it. Don't fight you two! There's enough for both of you! Vitani watched as the two just drank milk. Soon, she heard Kijiti have a little burp. Awwww. Then, Vitani nuzzled Kijiti on her tiny muzzle. Vitani nuzzled her to much, it made her hurt her. Kijiti started to cry. It's okay. Soon, Nuka wondered off again. His eyes weren't open, he didn't know where he was going. Nuka! Nuka bumped his head on the wall of the cave. Oh no! Vitani ran over to Nuka and picked him up and took him over to her spot. She put them between her paws. And told them to stay with her. She soon saw that Nala wasn't there. She wanted to look, but Vitani had to watch over cubs.

It was an early morning for Kiara as well. Her cubs started screaming as well. "My goodness.. Why can't cubs be more quiet?" She asked herself and tried to ignore the screams, but it was impossible. So she decided to wake up and figure out what they wanted. "Ok, what do you guys want?" Kiara asked, but of course got no answer. This annoyed her a bit, but she decided to guess what they wanted. Eventually she felt hungry herself and then she knew the cubs were hungry too. She had heard of nursing before, and decided to give it a go. She moved each cub to her belly and watched them as they each searched for a place to nurse on. Tero found his quickly, and not too long after, his sisters had found theirs too. They spent time with their meal, and Kiara smiled. Parenthood isn't too bad after all, she thought to herself. It wasn't too long before the cubs were finished with their first meal. Kiara was so excited, she felt like telling her mom. "Hey mom, they had their first... meal." Kiara looked around, but Nala was nowhere to be seen. "Mom?" Kiara continued looking till she turned to Vitani and asked, "have you seen where my mom has gone?"

I don't know. The last time I saw her was last night when she helped you though your cubs birth. Vitani moved Nuka and Kijiti over to her stomach again, because the cubs were crying again. You tired of them crying too? Kiara nodded. Me too. But it might help us guess what their voice tones will be like. Vitani watched as the cub nursed. Kijiti was soon growing a head tuft like Vitani. And also, Vitani saw on the head tuft, was a little head stripe on her head tuft. Soon, Vitani rested for a little more.

As soon as Kiara was finished nursing her babies, she put them back to sleep, and got some more rest. No one noticed, but Nala returned. She had been walking all night and was happy to find her resting spot again. Before laying down, Nala took a look at all her new grandchildren, and then her children. She couldn't believe that both her cubs had cubs now. It wasn't something a queen would expect. Especially with Kopa. He had been away for such a long time, she had missed his cubhood. It pained her, but she dealt with it just fine. She then lay down on her resting spot, next to her loyal companion, mate and king, Simba and fell asleep.

Soon, Simba woke up. He had slept for a couple of days because he was sick. But now he was all better. As he got up. He saw five newborn cubs. What? Five cubs. Three are Kiara's and two are Kopa's? Simba was now in shock mode. NALA?! Nala wake up! Huh? Nala! Did you know there are five new cubs?! Three from Kiara and two from Kopa?! What did I miss?! Well, you missed all of your grandchildren's birth. Darn! Soon, Simba heard a little mew come from one of Kiara's cubs. He went to look. It was Shani mewing. Kiara, Kiara wake up. What? Kiara? What are the cub's names? Daddy. Your better. And I'll tell you their names. The brown one is Maua. The male is Tero, and the runt is Shani. Awww. Those are all cute names. Then, Simba went over to Kopa. Kopa. Kopa wake up. What? Oh. Hi father. Kopa. What are these cubs names? Oh. The male is Nuka, and the girl is Kijiti. Those are also good names. Simba decided to go patrol the pridelands. Kopa. You want to come with me. I bet Kovu would want to spend time with his new cubs when he wakes up. Okay. So, Simba and Kopa went to go patrol. Soon, Vitani woke up. Vitani looked at her cubs. And saw that they had their noses high, trying to smell milk. You all hungry? Vitani moved the cubs to her stomach.

Soon, she saw that Kiara's cubs were hungry too. Kiara!Kiara wake up! What? Your cubs are hungry. Kiara soon looked at her cubs and saw that they were hungry. Kiara moved her three cubs over to her stomach.

Kiara had thought parenthood would be easier, but it obviously wasn't. Lionesses had told her before that being a mother was hard, but they made it look so easy that she didn't believe them. Kiara let the cubs finish nursing and after that put them back to sleep. She kinda felt like a prisoner in her own home. She wasn't used to staying inside Pride Rock all day long. It was very boring for her. But she stayed inside, taking care of her cubs when they needed her and lay there, hoping that time would just fly by.

You can't make time fly by, Kiara. Why not? Because do you want your cubs to grow up too fast. Then Vitani licked her cubs. Well, I don't want that to happen. Then, Kiara looked at her cubs and smiled. You know Kiara, watch your cubs extra careful because I heard after their two days old, it's possible that one of the cubs could open it's eyes. Is that true? Yes. But one of your cubs will open their eyes today. What? I comepletly forgot! Viani watched sas her cubs sleept. Soon, she saw Kijiti crawl around, then Nuka. She decided to put them by her stomach.She watched them with a good eye, like a lioness ready to get her prey. As Vitani watched. She soon saw Kijiti open her eyes! Kiara look! Kijiti opened her eyes! Kiara looked at Kijiti. Awwww! Where did Kopa go, he missed his daughter open her eyes?

"Males, they miss everything." Kiara mumbled to herself. She was kinda annoyed that it was midday and almost everyone, except her and Vitani, had the opporunity to go out of Pride Rock. But Vitani had made a point, Kiara wouldn't want her cubs to grow up too fast. They were so precious to her, she couldn't imagine them ever growing up. They all started moving around, stepping on each other, and trying to bite each others ears. Kiara knew this was a playful bunch, and from what she could see, Tero was a natural boss. He would manage taking care of the Pridelands one day, she figured. She smiled at her little cubs again. She felt tired after the birth, angry by her limitations, but through all that she could find peace and love by looking at her 3 cubs. They were true miracles.
