Yeah, the lions aren't supposed to have that marking. Only with the exception of Scar and his 'descendants'. (i.e. Nuka, Kovu.) Also, we see Kiara doesn't get them since she has more characteristics associated with Simba, not Nala.

What I think is interesting is how Simba's mane seems to change size. In the second picture, it covers his entire chest area but the in the third one, we suddenly see a strip of underbelly color by his shoulder.

Yeah, it's like his mane moves side to side, which can happen. But it's really dumb and unlikely with a mane that full. I mean, did you see that with Mufasa in the stampede? NO.

Actually, Simba is the only male who doesn't have those markings. Mufasa has them.

The markings disappear sometimes, especially when Kiara is a cub.

Wow. I'm pretty sure that if someone kept track of all the SP fails/mistakes, the list would probably be about 7 pages long XD The first Lion King is so much better.
