[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Kiara smiled. "Pretty name!" She let her brothers and Dyanna speak before entering again. "It's the best!" She laughed, "What did your old home look like?" She questioned turning her head in confusion. Kiara hoped this cub will be her best friend for many years to come. She's never had any friends besides her brother, the Pride was more consistent of newborns and younger cubs nowhere near their age.

"Well the cubs don't go far from our sight without an adult with them." she said looking to the other lionesses. She turned to Sarafina, "It will be great for Kiara." she cooed watching them interact. "Not right now, but we should do daily checks of our home, just incase we have spys." she whispered feeling uneasy.

Sarafina looked to Nala, "Well me and Shujaa can always do a little more patrolling in the mornings before the cubs wake up." she offered her idea to Simba.

Dyanna smiled, "Thanks Kiara!" She lifted her paws high and wide, "It was a huge jungle, like the one on the outside of your land. We have huge trees that touch the sky and a giant waterfall that falls into our watering hole." she said with enthusiasm. "It rains alot and well their are pretty colored flowers and animals, but lots of bushes and stuff." she added. "The waterfall is so beautiful it flows off our mountain, its so cool." she whispered thinking of home. "I like your colors, your all so light and pretty." she commented sheepishly. She wiggled her own black tipped paws and looked at her brown fur, the only thing bright on her body was her eyes;just like her mothers.

Kiara smiled as her eyes widened. "Your old home sounds beautiful!" She gasped, smiling again at Dyanna. "Thank you! You're pretty too! I haven't seen a dark lion up close. You're the prettiest one I've seen!" She exclaimed, looking at Dyanna's dark colouring, then suddenly remembering Kovu. Yet, Kovu was cute, not pretty like Dyanna.

"Wanna go play hide and seek?" Kopa offered, tail waving back and forth in anticipation of a new game.

Dyanna looked to Kiara, "Aww..Thanks Kiara." she said smiling. she looked to Kopa, "Well Ok. We could play tag too!" she said stepping towards Kopa and Kiara, her bright blue eyes looked back at Chaka. "Are you coming?"

As the cubs were getting ready to play, Simba looked at Nala. It had been so long since they had shared a romantic moment together. Simba admired his mate, the lioness who had long ago stolen his heart and never returned it. "You know, Nala, it's been so long since we've spent time alone. We should go up to the top of Pride Rock and enjoy each other's company," he said.

"Yeah sure! Why not?" He laughed but on the inside he felt bothered and alone. Obviously, there were no nice comments from or for him. It had been like that since the first day he was introduced to almost everyone in the pride. He lept onto a tall jagged rock and waited for the game to begin.

Simba looked into Nala's eyes. "Nala, would you like to join me for a romantic moment atop Pride Rock?" he asked, winking slightly. He would be overjoyed if she said "yes".

Nala smiled at Simba's comments, she nuzzled his red mane and purred softly licking his cheek. "Of course your majesty." she purred. She stepped away from him, her tail flicking under Simba's chin playfully. "Mom, watch the cubs." she called out. She then leaped onto the ledges and pulled herself up slowly, she looked to Simba. "This view never gets old." she whispered reclining back to her haunches.

Sarafina nodded and laid on the rock watching the cubs play, "Play nice kids." she said softly smiling.


Dyanna ran up to Kopa and tagged him playfully, "You it.." she said running away towards Kiara. "Run Kiara!" she yelled playfully.

Kopa laughed and began counting loudly as playmates scrambled away.
